Abrokanti and Emon both from Colkatta choose same song during their auditions. Is there any speciality with this song ?

I think it's just an awesome song...probably the high notes at the beginning followed by a ton of lower ones is good for showing the persons range?

This song is a tough one and also the feel of the song is great. One of SEL's better compositions. 👏 Sonu was excellent in this song.

This is one of the hardest songs to sing. There are too many variations. And this is one of SEL's best compositions. Sonu even won an award for this song which was well deserved.

Emon did a good job with the first few lines and that too without music. Abrokanti was an amazing singer.Even though he is so small, all of the songs he sang in Saregama are much better then the older singers in the reality shows going on. I personally felt he deserved to be in the finals, but the biased voting system always throws good singers out.

I think they should change the format..get Votes form the music Industry(singers, technicians, MDs, etc,, amke a panel of emminent musicians) in secret ballot (50% weightage) and 50% audience poll. That way we may get a good singer who is popular with the masses too.

Just might..Though no system is foolproof.. This 100% audience polls sucks.

I think the problem is that the voting is limited to India and a few other countries. In Saregama the results are more fair compared to SVOI and II. This is because online voting is allowed. Most of the viewers outside India are from USA and Canada. NRI's are rich people who would send a lot of votes. Also, they vote more fairly and for the deserving candidate. This regional voting bias would come to an end if viewers from US and Canada were given a chance to vote as more then the UK, it is people here who watch the show.

Online Votes may bring some perspective to the shows...
