He deserves every ounce of respect for his contribution to the film industry. There is a reason he gets so much respect and rightly so. It's amazing what he has accomplished thus far. No one can even touch that - not even my fav, SRK!

Well for his body of work and resurrection after failure, for pioneering the TV movement and getting superstars to accept TV work as mainstream definitely yes. But for his personal life not at all.

I am not even talking about movie accomplishments I am talking about real life persona. And I can understand that people respect him because of his old age but he isn't that nice he is quite controversial 😕
And IMO khans Stardom is much More than AB

Yes..he continues to enthrall his audience.He works harder than any actor,I know,including Akki,Big B completed 3 films,KBC and a daily soap on Tv.He also attends more events than any actor I know.He writes regularly,keeps his fans updated and also replies to his fans often.Then there are the numerous ads he does for radio and television..

Blinds and gossip don't affect his fans or standing in the industry.

For his work maybe.

On the personal front (ofcourse I dont know him personally, so it's only based on my own perception of how he projects himself), I've never liked him. Before I came to this forum, I wasnt even aware of the controversies surrounding him, yet I never liked him. He comes across as extremely fake!
