I think what they tried their best to do was build up ShaJan as a plan B coz KV had grown bigger than QH. However that could not happen because that couple did not click with most because of the premise on which it was based. This is why SJ was 'instructed' to promote ShaJan 'more'. But I guess even that did not help and they had to leap. So in anger I presume they made this mess!

I would still choose to not criticize SJ for her publicity style... Off Course I always prefer KV's genuine style(glad he kept a low profile as soon as he realized Sahil is not to be). He does try to pacify fans as best as he can(pulls in his wife too, who is blessed with great PR skills, good looks , etc...).

it takes a veteran to understand the pulse of the audience and act accordingly. Our lead heroine is yet to learn it.

SJ on the other hand believes, that she can get new fans if old ones don't like her new Jodi...

Also, I don't agree that you should just act whatever is given to you. Even actors can voice their opinions. KSG used to say when he didn't like the track, even Amara said it sometimes and so did KV. But I don't think SJ ever did! That is her choice, but sometimes fans expect even the actors to voice their displeasure coz you can clearly see the audience has issues with the story! It's not like they didn't know it! But all I saw was SJ promoting Shajan and continuously acting like she was thrilled to be Jannat, when she herself said Jannat is a "fictional character". I feel only KV cared about SAHIL and the SAHIL fans, and their reunion. SJ didn't! Sorry but that is MY personal opinion. That is what I feel! So I am not surprised that she has not even acknowledged the end of SAHIL, the OTP of the last 15 months! I think as a fan I am allowed to be dissapointed! It looks like Mel cared more about SAHIL than SJ did!

Again this is my opinion. I am not saying this is fact! But this is what I gleaned from what I have seen on behind the scenes segments and on social media and articles etc. Since Season 3 started she has never acknowledged SAHIL, unlike what she did during Season 2. I don't remember her ever going out of her way to promote SEHAN, who were a legitimate pairing of Seher and Rehan, not like Shajan who was married Sanam and some man who misled her! It's been very disappointing to say the least!

I think this show has trolled fans one too many times and don't see how they can keep people's faith now! They went too far this time! Leap was their only way to salvage the show! 2 leaps within 16 months? If that is the only way to continue the story, that shows there is a problem! Not to mention they rehashed the show 5 months ago, and it was such a failiure with a messed up story, they have to re-set again? Can't beleive despite all that, Gul Khan is still on her high horse?
