It was Nisha's birthday.. She was holding her phone in her and had her laptop infront of her and was waiting for someoene's call when her cousins and her parents came to her room and wished her.. Everyone saw her face and understood that he didn't call and one by one started to make excuses

Dolly: Phone off hoga.. Battery dead hogai hogi...

Umesh : Kaam main busy hoga..

Kirti: Gym gaya hoga.. and phone side main hoga..

Jwala: Erm.. Kuch kah rahe honge

Bunty : Naha rahe honge ...

Everyone gave him a weird look when he said that... and he explained..

Bunty : Abhi toh wahan morning hogi aur subah suabh toh insaan nahata hi hai na..

Ramesh was about to make an excuse when Nisha stopped ...

Nisha : Papa please.. and mujhe koi bahanae nahi sunne aise bhi usse kya fark padta hai birthday toh mera hai.. vo mujhe wish kare na kare.. usse kya.. abh applog toh wish karo na...

Everyone started singing birthday song for her ...Aman had baked a birthday cake for her.. she cut the cake and fed her parents and her cousins.. Everyone gave her gifts Ramesh came to her and hugged her.. He started cherishing her hair...

Ramesh : Aaj ke hi din mujhe mera happy wala song mila tha.. meri life ka best day hai yeh.. Bhagwan kare tere sare sapne ure ho .. aur jo tujhe vo sab mile jo tujhe chahiye he hugged her and kissed the top of her head

Laxmi came to Nisha and cupped her face : Meri choti si Nisha aaj kitni badi hogai na.. 24 saal ki hogai tu.. kuch hi samaye main teri shaddi ho jayegi aur tu hume chod ke chali jayegi.. Laxmi was getting emotional with every word she said.. she was about to continue but Nisha stopped her

Nisha: Maa please app yeh sab shaddi vagera ki baatien mat kiye karo.. Mujhe kahi nahi jana.. na hi kisi se shadi karni hai.. Abh app sab jao mujhe neend aa rahi hai kal office bhi jana hai .. Good night

Nisha looked at her phone .. He still din't call her or text her.. Every year he used to be the first one to wish her but this year he din't .. somewhere she was worried for him.. he never did this .. somewhere something was wrong

Next morning...

Nisha wokeup and went to the Puja Ghar to offer prayers .. she then went to her Dadu and Dadi to seek their blessings

Dadu: Janamdin mubarak ho Nisha.. yaad rakho... aaj tum ek saal badi hogai ho.. apni zimedariyon ko ache se samjho aur nibhao.. bohut garv hai tumpe mujhe.. He placed a hand on her head and gave her his blessings

Dadi: Arey mahri bachi.. kitni badi hogai.. Janamdin ki dher sari shubkamnaiyen ishwar tane khub kush(khush) rakhe Nisha hugged her Dadi and then to her uncles and aunts.. after that she left for her work..

She reached Lakshaya Academy and met Saurav there and he wished her.. looking at her sad face even he understood that He din't wish her.. He rubbed her back in assurance telling her that he will call.. Nisha smiled weakly and went to do her work..

She tried hard to concentrate on her work but she failed to do so.. She went to the canteen to order a coffee for herself but she heard one of her colleague order Bread Butter Jam.. she looked up .. It was his favourite dish.. She came to her desk and closed her eyes she tried to divert her mind and thought to hear some songs .. she plugged her earphones and switched on the radio.. the RJ played a song " Jane dil main kab se hai tu.." His favourite song.. She remembered him singing this song every now and then..

Everything since morning was reminding her of him.. But she was angry on him.. wasn't she..? aftter all he din't wish her .. How could he do this..? But why did he do this ? was he in some kind of problem .. ? did something wrong happen to him ? There were so many thoughts in her mind.. she decided that she will take a half day and go home and rest..

She was packing her stuff when she felt his presence around her.. first she thought that she is dreaming or imagining him... because she was missing him since morning.. so she shut her eyes took a deep breath and opened them .. she thought that he would disappear but no he was still there.. It meant that she was not dreaming .. He was actually there.. She whispered his name and ran towards him.. she hugged him tightly and he reciprocated the hug with the same feelings.. They were so lost in eachother that they forgot their surroundings.. They forgot that there were many people who were starting at them but all they cared was about eachother's feeling ...

Hai sab saath bas teri hi kami hai... Muskura rahe hai hum par aankhon main name hai.. Tu saath nahi par yahin kahi hai.. Jise dil chahta hai vo sirf tu hi hai...

I have everyone with me but you are not in them.. Though I am smiling my eyes are moist.. You are not with me but still I can feel your presence .. All my heart wants is just you
