gauri was offered for 'mohabbatein'

hey ppl .i dont know wether u know this,but gauri was offered to play as ishita in the yash chopra movie'mohabbatein' who is the love interest of Vicky(uday chopra) in the movie.heres the link:

Thanks goodness she didn't take the role!..as gaurihiten fan said..she doesn't want to be seen with anyone but Hiten

& also..I don't think anyone could have play Ishita better than Shamita!..Shamita & Uday ROCKED!

yes besides,ishitas role ,was not the gauri-agreeing-to-go-for-it type,gauri knows very well what she has to do and what not,i mean shes a person who can refuse for such offers and doesnt care weather she gets the fame or not by rejecting it.shes simply straight forward.

b'coz u don't need to luk at banner n grab the role. it's also abt likin, bein comfortable and agreein to the terms too😊...Gauri is very much straight forward with wat she wants or not! i sort of liked she refused(thu kajal preeti's role wud have suit her perfectly😳)and tht time she was doin Noor Jahan also... she liked doin 1 thing serial at a time😊😛

Gauri was not just offered Mohabattein but also many other films and the reason being obvious- her exceptional beauty. The reason she refused them is also obvious –her touch me not attitude. Gauri is not only reserved off screen but also a touch me not onscreen. How could she have survived in bollywood where heavy duty intimate scenes are a part & parcel of the film ? Gauri till date has not even let any of he co actor (except Hiten) kiss her on the cheek. Hiten is interested in films and has done 3 already and Gauri under his influence is open to offers but that too only parallel and art films and that too on her own terms and conditions.

Gauri is exceptional in every sense.

I think Uday is so short.... i don't understand how gauri-uday pair wud have even considered.....though she cud have been offered role of the indian girl opposite jimmy who played widow....me really surprised she was offered shamita's role....

yeah i thought the same thing............wat was shamita's role anyway?? apart from wearing really skimpy roles ofcourse?................... im sure gauri wud only wanna do roles with a bit more substance
