Finally box office confesses sridevi's judiaa was superhit

They lied all these years feeding people the notion that judaai was small grosser despite the contrary of trade verdict at the time like Komal nahta that movie was a superhit. They have replayed their deceit with truth.

Also to all aamir khan fans out there, you have something to dance about, ghulam, rangeela, ishq have given clean hit status. It still doesn't mean I trust their verdicts, since they exposed their biasness through the years and finally they are matching tarans verdict. Believing in their figures doesn't equate to believing in their verdict system. Still some lies in their verdict that EV is semi hit when all the trade has given a hit verdict.

To those who were under the impression sridevi didn't give a single hit in the 90s need to do proper research, khudA gawah, laadla were big hit, as well as her female orientated film judaai :)

Judas I was a female centred film and plot line itself was centred on a greedy wife, urmila did well in her part but it was sridevis film, her character, her acting, everything characters was centred around her, thats why she got bet actress nomination and anil didn't.

Agree with you on this. But judaai was classified superhit by strictest trade Komal, it was a major hit but boi hid this fact to downplay verdicts for certain stars. That's why I take tarans verdict because Atleast he sticks to them and doesn't change it after years.

If BOI were to be free to read books, i wud say put one in every toilet.

Judaai is a Sridevi film. It is her acting as a jealous wife and later a repenting woman that has all different shades and makes film worth watching despite a ridiculous plot.

Urmila had nothing to do in it except act as a babe earlier and then Sati Savitri later.

BOI new verdicts are a sham. Totally not worthy of being taken seriously.

I disagree that plot line was ridiculous, the story itself is lifted from a true story, things like that happen, also there are many women out there who are like sridevi in that film. The films strength relies on the core message, that money can never buy respect, honour and happiness, and anyone who sells their soul to will meet a terrible fate like sridevi in judaai, lonelyness, the people that are the very people closest to you reject and disown you later. Maybe the problem with the film is they made too film like irritating johnny comic scene could of been avoided.

By reading the plot shows who's film it is. She was playing a negative shades, the scene where she laughs when she receives her money, was scary, evil and brilliant acting.is.

I always thought these movies were major money-makers, maybe other than Khuda Gawah because I think it was costly to make.
