Stupid SLB will ruin Bajirao's biopic - Page 3

This SLB who you call stupid is responsible for 2 of the only memorable Hindi films in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's career.

Don't whine if he didn't cast her in any other film be it RL or BM.

I wanted Aish as Kashibai but he wanted her for Mastani. I still think Aish would have been perfect as regal Kashibai, not that weird warrior cum prostitute cum courtesan cum queen role Mastani. May be if SRK was cast as Bajirao she would have been ideal for Kashibai and Deepika as Mastani.

But this is not the reason I am critical about it. I genuinely feel it was stupid to show 1000000 men wearing same costumes just to have pretty looking scenes.

I am not a fan of SLB. I think he gives too much attention to grandeur and curtains and costumes than story or accuracy of the film. There is no need to have fashion shows in a biopic.

That's how the Maratha warriors dressed up... They didn't show up in Jeans and shirt in the court...
