Since the good actresses who are reigning right now are rejecting roles opposite Khans and Roshan, maybe it is time for the 90's heroines to make a come-back? Because if Dpad, Kangana, Anushka etc. refuse to act with Khans, the Khans have only two options -- go for an even younger lot like Alia and Kriti, or go back to their 90's and early 2000's heroines. I should say the former would be a more logical option.
SRK is acting with Kajol in Dilwale. perhaps this will spark off a trend to bring back other talented ones like Urmila, Sonali, Karisma, Juhi and Mnaisha who all had to vanish without ceremony when Rani, Preity, and Ash came on the scene. that time, the mindset was diff that's why these talented ones had to make way for the extremely average lot of Rani, preity, ash, kareena, bipasha.
Do you think it is possible for these talented ones to make a comeback opposite the Khans as Khans need heroines? They are all younger than the Khans anyways and born in the 1970's.
i would like to see the extremely talenetd crop of 90's heroines make a come-back as theyw ere short-changed. The Khans, Akshay and Ajay should act with them and leave the younger heroines to act with Ranbir, varun etc. That way, the balance will be maintained and the Khans can go on doimg romantic roles.
