Wholeheartedly agree with this post. Given the current track they shouldn't even consider a love story any time soon. Diya is a girl who was already betrothed to someone and thinks herself in love with him and now she's a victim of such a horrific crime. She still doesn't know that her fiance is now her ex but once she does it would be an even bigger blow to her. Rape victims take ages to heal and feel comfortable about relationships and intimacy. Her trauma plus Karan's rejection would surely affect her feelings about love. So it would be very unrealistic if they thought about including a love track in the near future. Maybe after her fight for justice and when her healing process begins in earnest. I really hope the makers show sensitivity in portraying the real emotions a rape victim feels picking up the pieces and trying to come back to normal life - their fears, apprehensions and anxieties.
And yes, even I wouldn't want Shaurya to fall for her anytime soon, it'd be too cliched otherwise. Hopefully he sticks by her side like a rock and just helps her each step of the way, whether it's in the fight against society or in the fight against herself and her demons.
