I've been thinking, Unlike Other Crimes, Which Are Committed Against A Person, Rape Has A Nature Of Continuation. Unlike Other Crimes, In Which The Victim Gets Public Sympathy, A Rape Victim Loses All Public Sympathy. Culprits Have the Last Laugh Even After The Crime.
Once Raped, You Always Get Raped, By Words, By Gestures, By Rejection, By Throwing Insults & Humiliation At Victim All The Time For No Fault Of Hers! By Family And Society All.
Unfortunately women also participate mercilessly in this balaatkaar after rape, questioning victim's virtue, hammering at her self-respect and spirit, robbing her of her confidence, dignity n honor.
After the main culprits, the whole society becomes culprit for her, in the name of protecting social norms! Laughable really! A society, which can let the rapists roam free among them, without questioning their virtue, hopes to save society norms? By victimizing the victim?
That is why,
I DO NOT want this story to turn into a love story soon. If ZeeTV and PH honestly wish to draw people's attention towards this burning issue, then not only Shaurya, a man, should Reign & Conduct the whole fight, depicting a man's duty and responsibility to respect women, Diya and Urmi supporting him, but also -
He should fight it as a Selfless, Determined Friend standing for a cause, i.e. a woman's honor + His newspaper + His belief in truth and justice!
With time, lot of time i.e. later, gradually if love evolves between them, because they are together in it, fighting it, understanding each other more & more and sharing the pain and agony they both have suffered, then it'll be a really beautiful love story based on mutual respect, care and understanding.
A lover fighting for his love is a common trend in serials/stories, but I'd prefer if PH wait, till they can create an eagerness and craving in audiences - When?' ... When will they realize their love?'
Much later when they do realize their love, it'll be very fulfilling to viewers. A craved wish fulfilled!!!
