IMDB is nice in that BW movies are being compared with world cinema..but I guess the desi movies not noticed by international audience don't get that many votes..Aam Junta are not that internet savvy..

Do Boycott the thread.

There is no Ranveer in the OP because;

a) As I said I dint have time to put everyone in.
b) None of his movies are above 7.5, let alone 8.

Farhan and Akshay both have movies above 8.

Initially Haider too was in the top lists in IMDB with its rating over 9 ( I think)..it got awards in film festivals..became the highest selling in Amazon..I guess one helped the other..and got Haider international fans!..I hope the number of votes and rating improves over time..😆..ye dil maange more!..😛😆

Don't know. English translation i guess to appeal to the non- BW crowd. there was a strong buzz for Oscars for it.

And it is in the top 250. I checked yesterday and it was listed there along with 3I and Lagaan.

It will be back. It was at 150-160 I think. These things often happen, a movie is temporarily displaced by the algorithm they use.

I dont know how seriously to take IMDB ratings... Jai Ho and Kick are both at 5.6 while ETT is at 5.3. IMO ETT is a better movie than the other two...
