Ajay Devgn was all set to produce a film for his wife Kajol. The movie was to be directed by Ram Madhvani. However, he later opted not to produce the film and recently Ajay spoke why he chose to do so. Talking about it, Ajay said, "What happened was my fault. Without hearing the complete and final draft, I went ahead and started pre-production which cost me quite a lot. I did so, as the shooting was going to start just 10 days later. When I heard the final draft, I was not happy. I realised that this wasn't going to work at all. We had a discussion and then I had to take a call whether to lose all that money we'd spent or go ahead with the film even though we are not happy with it. We decided not to take chances because we felt the film would not work in that form. So I stopped the film." The actor is currently working on a different script and is waiting for Kajol to complete the shooting of Dilwale'. He said, "I am just waiting for her shooting for Dilwale to get over this month. Now we are not doing the film with Ram Madhvani or Ashwni Dhir." Ajay is currently busy promoting Drishyam' which will be hitting the screens on 31st July
