Or have I read the scene completely wrong?!

Yeah he is madly in love I guess...based on that drunken state confession...like head over heels in love...he formed an emotional bond with her and once he realizes how strong that is...the other stuff will come out like physical desires and so on...I think Yuvraj finds her rawness attractive too that's why he became speechless after her hair smacked him in the face lol...but he's come a long way and it's some deep spell he's under...his love is the kind which can really hurt you if you end up on the losing side of it all...like if he lost Suhani he would just die i feel.

Guys what's problem with rohan I love u when yuvraaj saw soumya love at first sight that name fr y not rohan but ya the best part was yuvi didn't GT annoyed at hair smacking n pulled her back to was super awesome but yet again his ocd Raj overcame the lov😡

du, loved the stammering Yuvi--I'd forgotten that bit. Ass he is--he behaves like a boy, while Rohan is a man. But Rohan also is the catalyst--Yuvraj no longer has all the time in the world to defer his real feelings, presuming he actually has them.
Yuvi's ocd is actually a very smart plot device. It is entirely believable to me--I'd react the same way as he does most of the time. He isn't mean, he can't help being tortured at certain things. And in a way, it sets up close exchanges that he would otherwise feel shy to intiate.
Snaky was a blip on the radar. Su, however, is the one he can't let go of, reluctant as he is to admit it. He's been kicking and screaming silently long enough, now let's see how, in spite of the drunken confession (he just doesn't want her to leave, right? I don't think he says anything more), how Rohan almost gets the girl. And I think Rohan will almost get her.
