I don't have a single scene with Shahid: Kareena

All speculation about former lovers Kareena and Shahid Kapoor reuniting as a romantic pair in Udta Punjabi can now be put to rest. The actors don't have a single scene together. Her co-star in this unconventional film about drug abuse in Punjab is the Sikh star Daljit Dosanjh. Kareena says, "Shahid and I are in different sections of the film. There is not one scene together. Shahid and Alia Batt have separate segments. And I've mine with Daljit."

She expresses great faith in Daljit's entry into Bollywood. "He's a huge star in Punjab, very talented. And now he's making his debut in Hindi cinema with me. It's very exciting because Daljit is a wonderful actor. And my pairing with him is so fresh. After working with all the Khan superstars, I am now working with Bollywood's first turbaned hero. Too cool."

Kareena adds that the entire shoot was a fun ride for her. "For those who have been complaining that I only concentrate on big mainstream potential blockbusters like 3 Idiots and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjabi is a fitting reply."
