The first fictional (JODI) I have loved to watch on Indian Television. Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokos. From day one when I saw Jodha Akbar promos and started watching this show I could not tell the age difference between these two, none of them gave the chance for it to show onscreen both acting so well in their respective roles as a new wife and an arrogant husband till love removed all the barriers.
It was the rumours, the detailed difference between them off screen that circulated in the media, fan pages, forums and personal information that brought it all to light.
Both Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokos have indeed shown such professionalism in every sense to this very day that am sure to them it really does not matter.
Huh! One thing that I found amused at and at the same time in disbelief is the notion that Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokos do not feel comfortable with each other especially in romantic scenes and their hugs which to me is a signature hug' that none can copy in Tellywood. They brought in a difference from the usual pull and push, pin the woman to the wall and let her feel helpless and at the mercy of the man till she gives in. Instead they brought in the act of teasing, playing hard to get, taunting and making the other crave for the presence of the other.
I Bea, love and adore this couple for this only have they been like the same, same, same I guess I would not have watched Jodha Akbar for all these two years as I don't love too much touchy, and radical romance as a person (I mean soft and gently is more like me and off course I don't expect everyone to be like me either). I found their every moment together dazzlingly and romantic. In fact it is this quality in Indian movies that I loved and started watching because I change channels when radical romance comes on screen whether am alone or with children around me. I use to say the day Indian movies and Chinese movies would become like the likes of Hollywood then the world has reached its full capacity of ...
Well this Jodi as you say in India meet my expectations and I love them just the way the acted in all their romantic scenes from the hate-love and from the friendship to love phase till today.
The number one question I keep asking myself is if this two can make fans all over fall for their unusual chemistry till the extent that sometimes you feel they are just meant for each other in real life when both are rumoured as being uncomfortable' with each other what would have been if they were so, so and I mean so comfortable' with each other. Hmm I guess we would never know the reality only the once we are let on to know.
