I voted for Ash in HDDCS. It's not that the other actresses were bad. It's just that whenever I think of SLB, HDDCS and Ash-Salman are the first thing that come to my mind. Rani and Manisha were amazing in their respective movies. It's just that their movies are a little dark so I have not re watched those movies like I have HDDCS. I must have watched HDDCS like 100 times by now.

Aish. I think she was fab in HDDCS. And then Rani and manisha in black and khamoshi.

I would have to say it is a toss-up between Rani and Manisha.

Both were near-flawless in Black and Khamoshi, respectively.

I found Aishwarya less than perfect in HDDCS. She was very screechy in one particular scene on the swing, and that marred it for me.
