Hi all,
New to the forum. But hey Sonu, nice to know that you know Shubhi so well.
I know her since her initial days at the Taj Palace and we were all together in the Opening team at the Kafe Fontana. She had just graduated from College and was on training at the Taj Palace.
Got to interact with her quite a lot and we became really good friends, although we were at opposite sides, she worked for the F&B Service Dept and I was a Chef.
I still remember her from those days. She was an amazing dancer and had a dance group of her own. Full of energy and life and always smiling and laughing. She was always a hard worker, but it didnt look like she was cut out for the Hotel Service Industry.
Glad to know that she has finally made her mark in this big bad world.
I remember once she was walking down from the Fontana Service Area at the Taj Palace after her Shift and tears rolling down her eyes, I stopped her and asked her what happened, incidentally she had got a shouting from the manager Cyrus. I wiped out her tears telling her, they dont look good on her face, but while crying also, she was laughing.
I also remember buying Holi colours together at Munirka Market and we were supposed to meet on Holi day, but unfortunately, could not co-ordinate as the Cell Phones werent that cheap and we didnt have any. :-) Many Many sweet memories have come back.
She just vanished, and now after a month of Chak De's release, I came to know in a Newspaper about her being in the movie!!!!. I saw the movie the very day.
She still looks the same, and when i saw her whistling in the end of the movie, that is exactly what i remember her to be like. Bubbly, chearful all in all an amazing girl.
There are a lot more memories, She used to stay in Vasant Kunj and both her parents were very sweet. i faintly remember meeting her brother too.
I always asked her friend Divya, about where she was and what she was doing, but never got to know as Divya wasnt sure herself.
Anyway, Shubhi, wherever you are, may god bless you and shower you with all the success.
