U can type Sholay full movie on YT and u will have all the links..

Sanjeev gives Gabbar a flying 2 legs kick and Gabbar is pushed to the posts where Sanjaeev's arms were chopped off... a shock on gabbar's face as he goes down.. coz he hits the huge knife life stuff on his back... and he falls on ground dead.

Dharam comes to Sanjeev as Gabbar lying dead... consoles Sanjeev, they cry on Jai's death, Then Jai's antim sanskaar and train song koi haseena. NO Police in the end.

I have seen both versions.. but this one is the most popular one. I watched on video when i must be 6-7 may be. Never been able watch it on big screen althou after many years some single screens showed all those Amitabh movies to celebrate his birthday. grrr

Where u from? If YT is not blocked in ur country then u can go there n type "Sholay full movie".

There r so many links.. I m ay find the version that u have seen.. but chances r less.

Sholay making is such an interesting stuff for Bolly fans, I opened a topic on that no takers.. so i didnt post the most emotional part of it.

It wasnt a classic when it was released, forget censor board even public didnt how to react to it for 2 weeks and then... Tsuanmi.. Thats when they decided to keep the original climax.

I am in US, its blocked here. But I found another link and watched the modified ending. 😲 I found it shocking but more morally correct! If Gabbar had gone to jail, he might have escaped and killed for revenge again.

I dont know who spread this story abt Sholay getting a lukewarm reception when it was released. I was there, we lived in Delhi at that time, we watched it in the 2nd week, there were HUGE lines, tickets were sold out, people went totally crazy for it.

In those days, WOM took longer to spread, there was no internet, no FB or online forums, people read reviews in newspapers and magazines. So it took time for movies to become hits or blockbusters.

Thats why hit was declared only after 25 weeks or 50 weeks run, silver jubilee and golden jubilee. Not like the present times when movies are declared Blockbusters just after 1 week!
