The SC appointed panel gave out its verdict and it doesn't look great for Kundra...
The IPL spot-fixing scam seems to have finally come to a conclusion. A Supreme Court selected panel concluded their probe and the verdict is really staggering. Apart from suspending Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for two years, Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, who co-owns Rajasthan Royals, too is in trouble as the panel has found him guilty of betting in the T-20 tournament.
A daily reported that Kundra has been suspended from all forms of Cricket after he was found guilty. And this ban is for life. So no more cricket matches for the Kundras. ICC Chief N Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan was also found guilty of betting. He too has been suspended from all forms of Cricket for life. Justice R M Lodha said that Kundra was placing bets through a punter who is known and was in touch with the bookies all the time. This has damaged the faith on BCCI and the sport.
Well, Kundra's tweet the in the morning said a lot about what he was expecting. He wrote, "A trap is only a trap if you don't know about it. If you know about it, it's a challenge. Goodnight. Tomorrows going to be quite a day!
" We wonder if this was what he was expecting!
