I still maintain that Radhika was overscored. Her performance was very thanda and lacked sharpness. She has technique in her body but since when is dancing all about getting your steps right? When one puts their best foot forward, it's evident even if they're no good dancers and if one doesn't, then no matter how correct the steps are, the performance won't come through. Radhika's performance didn't come from within and hence felt slack and had no 'wow' factor. I definitely hope to see better from her in the future and let her dance do the talking.
And for the record, Vaishnavi is not Faisal's choreographer or mentor. She's only his dance partner, there is a difference. I really didn't find her as bad as others here dance-wise but maybe I missed something.
Just my two cents. Cheers! =)
Strictly as a dancer, I would say that floor work is really hard to do. But she did really well. It wasnt perfect but it was still really good. The lifts were sharp and clean. The only thing I wish wasnt there were the graphics and wish the act had little more dancing. However, whatever she did was really good.
@bold none of the performances had wow factor. Faisal was really good but vaishnavi couldnt match up to him in terms of steps. The minor mistakes took it away however the dance was extremly challening. That is why Faisal performance was the best performance of yesterday.
Scarlett performance had very less floor work and more lifts. Having said that I like her performance.
Shamita attempted four dance forms in one song. AMAZING. Bharatnatyam, salsa, MJ, hiphop are not easy at all esp doing bharatnatyam in bang bang song. However, her dance lacked that energy and she wasnt as confident.
I am her fan so at times I will be biased 😆 but here keeping all my biasness aside, this comment was just as a dancer.
