This OS is written for Kurbaan hua Anniversary Thread ... Link
There is corporate party going on... MS Constructions has signed a deal and they are celebrating it with the client... Everyone seemed to enjoying the party... but one person is most annoyed... he is none other than the MD of MS Constructions...Manjeet Singh ... he looked around for the person who is the reason of his mood... and he spotted her... there she is talking to one of the employee and he can see she is giving instructions...
he marched towards her and called her... no shouted ... MISHTY...
she turned around and his breadth stuck ... he forgot to breath...MISHTY is wearing a typical Punjabi attire... her eyes held him captive. ... he couldn't find the appropriate word... beautiful is definitely not the word .. may be angelic does some justice... he heard.. someone yelling...
CUT...
he came out of trance... she looked back and saw the director coming towards him...
Director... Maan... what happened... at this point you have to be annoyed... angry... not surprised...
Maan was frustrated with himself... why he unable to deliver... he murmured... Just few moments karan .. and he rushed to his vanity van...
Karan ... geet... you too can take a break... Geet nodded and she left and sat with one of the co star... Abhi... who is playing the villan in the film...
Maan closed his vanity's door with a band and fell on the small couch present there..
Maan - yeh kya horaha hai mujhe... kyun main hamesha apne aap ko bhuljaata hoon jab bhi tum saamne aati ho... kyun itna asar hain tumhara mujhpe... kyun geet kyun...
He closed his eyes and sat quietly for some time... trying to find answers...
Maan Singhs Khurana is a superstar... he debuted 8 years back and from then there is no turning back... his debut movie did well even thought its not a blockbuster... he got appreciation in his first film... soon he signed his second film with a newcomer.. one of the producers daughter as his heroine... and it became a blockbuster giving him the much needed hit and recognition in the industry... he is not from a filmy background... but he paved his way with honesty .. dedication and sheer hard work... and today every producer and director wants to work with him...
He is doing a film with his first director Karan who has recognised his immense talent and love for acting for the first time ... after 8 years... he was extremely happy while signing the film... least he knew all his peace of mind will be gone...
At The launch of the film he met her for the first time... and he was blown away... he knew she is related to one of the producer... he didn't give much importance to that... she had done one film... which didn't do well but the critics and everyone said that she is the only good thing in the film... he thought they are just doing it to be in favour of her coz of her links... But she proved him wrong in every his every thinking... she may have got the opportunity very easily but she is as hardworking as him... she never thrown any tantrum ... he was even surprised when she came to one of the promotion event without makeup... even then she looked angelic... he had never seen any heroine without makeup... even the first thing in the morning... but Geet is different... she doesn't wear and flaunt her designer wear... she wears very normal clothes... jeans and tops... or shorts and tops to the shoots... and then the transformation for the role... always left him surprised... Maan always wondered whether she is beautiful with or without make-up...
Someone knocked the door and Maan came out of his thoughts... Sir... shot ready... someone shouted...
Maan stood up and saw his reflection in the mirror... get a grip Maan... you cant loose what you have gained in these years of hard word... today is the last day of the shoot and then there will be no contact... and take a holiday ...go on bunjee jumping... kuch bhi karo... he said to himself... and with determination he went out for the shot...
As she started walking he saw Geet and Abhi... Geet is laughing as abhi showed her something on the phone... he felt an unknown sensation in his heart... he wanted to punch that abhi...he stopped himself and moved towards Karan...
Karan explained the shot... and Geet also came... they took the positions and they started to enact... Manjeet held Mishty tightly in his grip... and she winced... Maan looked at her eyes and immediately left her...
Karan shouted CUT... he came to then and asked... what happened maan... you were doing great...
Maan - I felt i held her hardly... she ... she... winced...
Geet - no... I am ok... I was doing my part...
Karan - ok... Maan concentrate on your part... he shouted get ack everybody... and the shot began... this time Maan concentrated on his part and they completed the shoot...
around 3 the shoot was completed and everyone was hugging and saying good byes... karan went to maan's vanity with geet.. he knocked and entered...
karan - Maan .. as you know today we are launching the music... and you two have to perform for the title song...
Maan nodded but was like... oh.. no... I thought today...is the end of my misery... but...
Karan - and geet... you wear that saree... maya will send it to you ... and plz... thoda makeup lagake aao yaar... waha saare media wale honge... karan joked... Geet smiled and said... don't worry Karan I will not disappoint you... she told to Karan but she looked at Maan... and Maan looked away from her...
Karan ... so lets meet in the evening... Geet said bye to both and left from there...
Karan and Maan were left alone...
karan - Maan I need to talk to you...
maan - yes karan... she said sitting in the couch...
karan settled himself beside him turning towards him... they started their chit chat for sometime and Karan suddenly asked... Maan... kab bata rahe hi usse...
Maan - kya batana aur kise...
Karan - anjaan mat bano maan...
maan - tum kisbaare mein baat karr rahe ho... theek se batao...
karan - geet... ka. bata rahe ho... apni dil ki baat...
maan - geet,.. usse kya batana hain... aur mere dil mein kuch nahi hain... jo batana hai...
karan - kise bewakoof banarahe ho maan... mujhe ya apne aap ko... tumhari aakhuom mein saaf dikh raha hai mujhe...
maan - aisa kuch nahi hain...
karan - kyun door bhag rahe ho maan... tum to aise nahi the... kaha gaya woh mera dost...
maan - Main kahi nahi bhag raha hoon karan... aur maine kaha na aisa kuch nahi hain...
karan - kyun jhoot bolrahe ho maan... maine kitni baar dekha hain... aur aaj... bhi dekha hain... kyun door bhag rahe ho maan... geet achi ladki hain... woh auron ki tarah nahi hain...
maan - aisa kuch nahi hain karan... tumhe hi kuch galat pehmi hui hain...
Karan - tum kitna bhi chupane ki koshish karo maan... tumhari aankhom mein saaf dikhta hain... agar tum maanna nahi chahte toh theek hian... main kuch nahi kahunga...
he got up to leave... he took two steps and reached the door... he turned and said... aur jaisa tum soch rahe ho aisa kuch nahi hain... Geet is single and abhi is just a co-star ... a colleague.. ... like me... Ithink this is enough for you...
Maan stared at him... but Karan left... Maan too left the van and sat in his car... he reached his apartment... he stood in the balcony and was thinking what Karan said...
He got ready and left for the music launch party... he is never this excited to attend a party... he felt bore ... though he loved his work... he didn't like to exaggerate things... he always felt and wanted his work speak more work than his words...
The party begun... most of the guests were gathered... selected media persons were allowed... Karan did it purposefully to increase the curiosity... and it was not a live event... Geet is still not comfortable with live programmes... so Karan made this arrangement... in a way it helped the film...
karan took the mic and said... ladies and gentle men... welcome to the music launch of my new venture... Kurbaan Hua... with Super star MSK.. I thunk there is no need to introduce him... his name is enough... i believe...this is my second film with him... and there was a huge round of applause...
Karan continued... and the heroine is our very own Geet Handa... Daughter of Ace producer Inder Handa... she is beautiful.. she is talented... and she has the best screen presence...
and again there was a round of applause... not much.. but some welcomed Geet... some stood as if they are nit bothered... Karan shook his head inwardly...
He again continued... and today... you are going to meet my characters... Manjeet Singh and his Mishty... here is a song from the film... Maan and Geet are going to enact the song as it is in the film... and the lights went of... showing Maan and Geet on the opposite ends... as the music started they came forwards and started to perform on the song...

Maan read her confusion... but didn't show it... he knew he is confusing her... from so many days he has been avoiding her... but today... he left all his assumptions and decided to do as his heart says... he decided to follow his heart...

as the song completed there was a complete silence around... and then slowly they heard claps... and it lasted for many minutes...
The rest of the event went well and the other songs are also released... and the event was a successes... Karan went out and saw people who attended the launch praising the songs.. Maan and Geet.. and their chemistry... Karan knew this will be blockbuster movie... he looked for Maan and Geet... but he couldn't find the,... he understood.. and smiled and left from there...
Maan pulled Geet to the terrace of the hotel... which was decorated with lights...
Geet - Maan... aap mujhe yaha kyun leke aaye... she asked...
Maan looked passionately into her eyes and said only two words... Be Mine...which left Geet stunned... she took a step backwards...she saw into his eyes... his eyes were showing his truthful ness... She understood his actions now... a small smile came on her lips... Maan spread his arms and she went into his arms blushing...
Maan - tumne jawab nahi diya...
geet - aap ko abhi bhi jawab chahiye... she said showing them...
maan - haa... mujhe tumhari hotonse sunna hai...
geet nodded a no and gave him her phone... which is a latest version of iPhone... he looked at her questioningly... she asked him to open... he clicked and it asked for the password... she said...MAANEET ... Maan looked at her, shaking his head he typed the pw... when the screen unlocked... he is shocked... it has his pic as wallpaper... he didn't know when Geet took this pic...
Maan hugged her tightly and said... i love you Geet... I know i realised it late ... but I truly love you...
Geet - I always knew it Maan... you are the one for me... I love you too...
