Many on screen romantic couples cannot stand each other in real life. Adding to the list of actors who have quarrelled with each other on the sets is Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek Shyaam' s lead couple, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil.
Barkha makes no bones about admitting that the two are far from cordial with each other.The duo had their first showdown in Wai, during an outdoor schedule. "It was a shot that required Indraneil to throw a blanket on my face and I was supposed to duck. I had already already warned Indraneil that if the blanket touched my face, my make-up would get ruined. He agreed to be careful. But when we went for the final take, the blanket came flying at my face. I thought that Indraneil had done it on purpose and I confronted him," she says. Indraneil feels that it is a case of opposing personalities and says, "Barkha and I have certain issues. We don't really get along. But our differences have nothing to do with work. It's our personalities that clash. I agree that I'm very egoistic. But she too has her flaws."
Barkha, on the other hand finds Indraneil's attitude offensive. "I understand that he was a well known model but that was then. Now we're working in a daily TV show and there is no time for details and research. Whenever we have to meet deadlines, he wastes time asking inane, irrelevant questions. I know that as an actor he is curious but that cannot be an excuse for wasting precious time," she says.
What about rumours about them havig an affair? "Indraneil has a girlfriend and I've been dating Karan Singh for some years now. Plus,I don't even talk to him, forget having an affair," Barkha sets the record straight.

Before joining television, the girl from Dehradun finished her B Com from Symbiosis, Pune. She worked for three and a half years as a voice and accent trainer at a call centre. And then came her Big Break….
At 24, Barkha was chosen from thousands of youngsters to play 'Udita' in Balaji Telefilms' Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. After a nationwide talent hunt, Barkha was the finalist from the Bangalore round. With her quirky behaviour, she became very popular with the 'MTV crowd'.
Soon this huge success was followed by well-appreciated roles in Kasautii Zindagi Kay and KavyAnjali. But she opted to be part of Pyaar Ke Do Naam…, instead of Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa!
After the popular Balaji dramas, Barkha was no doubt enthusiastic about playing the lead role in Pyaar Ke Do Naam, Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam under the Rajshri banner. And she had the handsome Indraneil Sengupta for company!
Lucky for us to see her in two completely different roles in this interesting serial! On one hand, she's the beautiful, aspiring doctor from the middle class-Raadha, and on the other, she's the young, gutsy, village beauty-Shyaama. This spunky girl always insists on doing her own stunts for the show.
Yes, things are going great for her in her professional and personal life. Barkha is all set to marry Karan Singh-her co-star 'Arnav' from Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi- later this year. Barkha and Arnav have been together for quite some time now, after meeting on the sets of the show. We wish her all the best!
