what does it mean direct message on twitter?😕

Direct message on Twitter means directly messaging on Twitter cause when you tweet, everyone can see it unless u put a privacy lock on your account & in that case only your followers can see it. In direct message only that person can see the message whom you are sending it. That comes in your personal chats!!!
