I Love NY had poor first day grossing around 40-50 lakhs nett. The film does not have much of a chance even if was to show big growth on Saturday.

Baahubali (hindi) managed to do decent business in Mumbai, CP Berar and CI but North and East India were dull. The first day collections were around 4.25 crore nett which is the highest for dubbed film from South India. But its the usual trend for dubbed films where Mumbai and Central India give them a chance compared to other circuits.

The collections in Mumbai were 2 crore nett plus while Delhi / UP was just 25% of Mumbai at 55 lakhs nett. A lot will depend if it can show good growth on Saturday but even if it was not it will still turn out to be a good one week filler before Bajrangi Bhaijaan especially in Mumbai CP Berar and CI.

The Punjabi film Hero Naam Yard Rakhi fared poorly grossing 55 lakhs nett all India.

It's actually surprising that a movie without any promotions or songs on TV, no interviews in papers has still managed to collect around 50 lakhs on the first day.

Don't pounce on me, I am a fan of Kangana but have never believed her to have the same starpower as the Khans but half of whatever the film has made on the first day can definitely be attributed to Kangana's popularity after Queen and TWM2 that inspite of such a shitty outdated trailer, some people still went to watch it.

Expected for a film with zero promotions and clashing with mighty Bahubali.This film's fate won't affect Kangana nothing can change what TWMR or Datto has done this year .I'm not having high expectations on Katti Batti next year looks promising for her.
