CHAPTER 13
Few days pass by Jodha is playing with Rahim in the garden when she over hears some people taking about killing Jalal one of them being Adham then she went to Ruqaiya to talk to here to about this at the same time Maha Anga also come there, Hoshiyaar was going in to tell her that Jodha wants to talk to her. Maham tells Hoshiyaar) Please tell Begum-e-Khas, Wazir-E-Aliya has come to meet her (Hoshiyaar comes in & says) Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum & Wazir-e-Aliya have come to talk to you (Ruqaiya commands) Bring Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum in side with respect, Wazir-E-Aliya tell her that I am busy & don't have time for her (Hoshiyaar goes out of room & says) Wazir-e-Aliya, Begum-E-Khas is not interested in meeting you...(Ruqaiya comes out looking @ Jodha says) Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum please come inside with me lets sit & talk. (Maham is shocked. Jodha smiles goes in & sits) Ruqaiya Begum I heard Shahansha is going out for hunting few day (Ruqaiya says) Jodha Begum I know don't worry nothing will go wrong I will take care (Jodha says) it not that I am not talking about, I was playing Rahim I heard that when Shahansha is out there at hunt they will attack him, so I thought if you talk to him he might change his plan (Ruqaiya worried) I will talk to him (They walk out towards Jalal's room. Jodha says) Don't mind Ruqaiya Begum but remember strong kings like him like putting their lives in danger (Ruqaiya says) looks like you have experience (Jodha says) Ya my bua's son he has spend a lot time on war ground so he has a habit putting his life in danger to save his family people close to him how many times you tell him to not do it he will put himself in danger do it put himself in danger just take care, it will be difficult to convince Shahansha, but at same time I know you being his childhood friend will be able to do it. (Rahim come there & says) Adaab Shahi Ammi (Ruqaiya smiling at Rahim says) Adaab Rahim (Rahim says) Adaab Choti Ammi Jaan, (Jodha hugs him. Rahim asks adds) where did you go I was looking for (Jodha replies) Rahim I am sorry but I had to talk to Ruqaiya Begum (to Ruqaiya) you should proceeded I will be with Rahim. (Ruqaiya goes inside Jalal room & Jodha picks Rahim & goes toward Salima's room. Jalal is busy remembering Jodha. Ruqaiya hugs Jalal. Jalal says) Finally you came I been wating for you (Ruqaiya says) Jalal you should have called me (Jalal says) Ruqaiya you (Ruqaiya ignoring asks) you are going for hunting you know it is not save stop being macho & don't go if some thing happens you then (Jalal says) I going hunting not on a war Ruqaiya (Jodha tells Salima everything. Bandhi comes & says) "Sorry for interruption Shahansha, Khas Begum Salima Begum wants to meet you.Jalal says) Let her come. (Salima says) Shahansha, Ruqaiya Begum is right it's not save for you to go hunting at this moment (Jalal says) Ruqaiya Begum, Salima Begum I am the Shahansha I can take care of myself (Ruqaiya & Salima leave. This happens for a 2 days but Jalal doesn't listen. That makes Jodha restless. Then the night before he is leaving Jodha see Abdul & says) Bhaisa (Abdul says) Begum sahiba. (Jodha tells him everything and tell him to try & stop him from going & clearly mention Adham involvement. Abdul is shocked. He goes & tells Adhka Sahaab. They both go tell Jalal. Jalal still goes for hunt. They are attacked the attacking soldiers are caught but Adham runs away not realising that Adkha & Abdul know he is responsible for this they catch him. Jalal is not shocked to know Adham did this but is shocked Abdul & Adkha knew this. Adham is caught by Jalal's soldiers. He is arrested & they proceed back to the palace. Every one in the palace gets the information & is waiting for Jalal. On the way Jalal asks Abdul how did he know about Adham. Abdul tell him that not about the plan of attacking but also about Adham's involvement was informed to him by Jodha herself as she heard this all while she was playing with Rahim one morning. Jalal why he was being stopped by his Begums & also that how worried Jodha would be. He reaches the place.Hamida with concern says) Jalal are you fine (Maham fake concern ) Jalal are you fine (Jalal hugs Hamida consoling her says) I am fine Ammi Jaan we caught the criminal too who attacked me (Ruqaiya walks towards him. Jalal looks around, see Jodha walks to her, hugging her says) Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum hum dhek hai (Jodha looks @ him & softly says) hum aapke gaav dekh nahi sakte hai (Jalal softly says) Jodha humare saath chaliye humare hojra mein (Everybody else follows. Jodha is putting medicine on his wounds. Rahim & doctor walks in. examines Jalal's shoulder. Rahim says) Adaab Shahansha (Jalal responds) Adaab Rahim (Rahim asks) Choti Ammi Jaan did you put medicine on hand (Jalal takes both Jodha's hand in his & see) Jodha Begum you burnt your hand (Jodha says) it's nothing Shahansha. (Rahim informs) some begum put hot oil on Choti Ammi Jaan hand.(Jodha says) come here Rahim (Rahim says) I will tell him everything Maan Bhai Jaan is not going to say anything but I will (Jalal questions) is there something else Rahim (Rahim looks around) no Shahansha (Jodha says) you have hurt you shoulder let Hakim Sahaab do the stitches you need to rest (Jalal asks) Ruqaiya Begum will you do me favour (Ruqaiya says) yes (Jalal tells) can you please put medicine on Jodha Begum's wound for me (Ruqaiya does as said. Jalal & Jodha are holding each other hand tightly. The doctor leaves.Jodha says) you should rest (Jalal stands up & fumbles a little Ruqaiya supports him walks him to the bed. He lies down. Hamida ordering says) Jalal needs to rest lets us all go (Jalal requesting) Jodha Begum I want to talk to stay (Jodha stays everyone else leaves. There are maids. Jalal orders) Leave (They all leave.Jodha is standing at the end bed.Jalal asks) Jodha aap vahan kyoun kadhi hai humare paas aake bataiye (She doesn't move. Jalal tries to get up it pains him. Jodha rushes to him & says with tears in his eyes) Shahansha hiliye mat aap ke kandhe mein aabhi abhi taange laage (Jalal asks) aap humse gussa hoo (Jodha says) aap Shahansha hai, humare paas aapse krodhit hone ka adhikar khain (Jalal says) Jodha aasie mat boliye hum aapke Jalal srif aapke Jalal hai, Shahansha hum baaki sab ke liye aapke liye nahi (Jodha say) Shahansha, aapka shikaar intana avashak tha aap kabhi kisse sunte kyoun nahi hai (Jalal asks) Jodha aap humare paas kyon nahi aaye khod (Jodha says) sabke bolige baad bhi toh mane jaaiege (Jalal says) Jodha aap Abdul se bhi kehe sakti hai magar humare paas aakar hume nahi (with disappointment ) aapko laga hum aap par yakin srif isliye kyounki Adham, Maham ke bete hai (Jodha realised her angry might be justified but Jalal was thinking from his prospective. She hugs him tightly & says) Mera payaare se shahzade, Yeh vishwaash ki nahi aapki hath ki thi, hum jaanti hai aap kitane hathe hai (Jalal smiling a little asks) Jodha toh srif humare ziddi hone ke vahje se nahi aayi aap na ke... (Jodha cut in) humare shahzade hum ko intana bhi nahi samajh te hai (Jalal says) humari Jodha humse itani naraaz aur gussa hai (Jodha says) humare shahzade intana bhi nahi jaanti ki hum aapke gaavo ko dekh kar hume pida hoti hai (Jalal says) humari Jodha hume maffui nahi karegi (Jodha adds) hum aapne shahzade se rusht nahi hai (Jalal pulling her towards him says) Jodha aakli baar aap khod humare paas aayie gi (Jodha kissing him on the lips says) Jalal aap jaane ke baad bhi kyoun gaye thie.(Jalal says) Jodha, humare upar peheli baar hume hamla nahi hova hai nahi aakhri bari (Jodha says) Jalal hum yeh jaante hai parintu Adham se aakhir baar hone chaaiye aap unhe dante dijiyega ki voh phir yeh aapradh na kare (Jalal countinues) Jodha hum dekh ge (They both spend rest of the day and night together.
