In 'Fan', I play the one who makes a star: SRK

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has unveiled the release date and a teaser of his upcoming film "Fan", says in the film he plays "the one who makes a star".

The 49-year-old took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to talk about his role in the Maneesh Sharma directorial, and wrote: "And hope u all 'feel' yourselves as I play the one who makes a star. All who make meI am your FAN".

The 63-second teaser for "Fan" came out just a day after the walls of the "Don" actor's four-storeyed house were painted with messages like 'love you SRK' and 'c u 15th', and it was signed with the name 'Gaurav'. It was a promotional strategy to denote the extent of how crazy a fan of a film actor can get.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie will hit the theatres on April 15, 2016.

This is going to be so awesome for all of us SRK fans!! It's going to emphasize the fact that these actors are where they are today because of the millions of people all around the world that make them who they are...aka FANS! It will be so interesting to see how this movie shapes out because it can relate best to the common people. SRK is no SRK without the fans that make him who he is today. He pushes to work harder for his fans!! This goes for all celebs... Only a number of them admit they claim to fame is all thanks to their fans!!! :)

Yes very true. At the end of the day it is the audience who makes an actor a star, not PR, not extensive backing, nothing else but audience. Love that SRK acknowledges that fact
