What's the deal with KJO-Alia?

Why is Karan Johar so fixated with Alia Bhaat? It's not like they're related nor have a romantic relationship. If he wanted to be a father figure to someone, there are many youngins, why Alia specifically? I just don't get his obsession with his "Aloo"

Kajol gave him hits and he repeated her numerous times. Alia ditto. She gave 2 states and HSKD..both massive hits in which alia was widely praised..so it seems a fair deal to sign her if she is being profitable to the company

I get repeating actors/actress. I'm not questioning Kjo's business sense. With Kajol/Kareena it was more of a friendship- they were BFF. With Alia, his eyes sparks up on the mention of her name. Giving movies is fine...she is doing well atm and probably comes cheaper than the others...but this shoving down our throats is something else...from getting people to call her Meryl Strep to now curating shows for a channel. Please give us a break from Alia.

Looks like KJO's obssession with Alia has irritated people around. Alia is doing good for herself with movies and brand endorsements. So KJO the businessman will be definately supporting her. Do not foget he did launched her with SidM and Varun. So if they do good in their careers it feels that KJO gets a male ego boost.

I have also heard that many actors just hate KJO love for Alia as many of them are not getting good scripts. So they are definitely frustrated.😆

As for Parineeti I can advise her one thing be friends with KJO for recommendation and references but select script after analyzing whether the movie will be hit or flop and if the movie has a good role. In other words use your brains Parineeti.😃
