Highway was a disaster? Yeah it was no hit, but far from being a disaster. Leaving box office aside, that was the film which made people take her seriously as an actress. Otherwise she was pretty much written off after SOTY.

I think she's the daughter he never had and probably always wanted. So he has that paternal instincts with her. Professionally speaking they've had successes together so it makes sense he's giving her films. She does need to branch out a little more though.

I think he backs the soty trio fairly equally though. Shuddhi and that Nitya Mehra film seem to be in the same zone, it's just that Shuddhi has been hyped more because of the cast changes. Brother's may be two-hero but it's a strong script, big director, holiday release, so it's not a bad film to have gotten for Sid.

I have already clarified that i am not talking about critical acclaim...it was a FLOP at B.O if not disaster...it all means the same ...flop/disaster...And i found her average in that movie...never understood the hype around her performance in HIghway

Sid ager hai toh kjo ki wajeh se but ehsan faramosh sid fans usko credit bhi nahi dete ... 🤣 now obviously kjo cant do all the adds/serials/hosting with sid , that will make things too obious and out in the open😉

Alia is doing- Shaandar, Kapoor & Sons, Shuddhi & Ayan's next under Dharma

But she atleast has 1 non-dharma venture in Udta Punjab 😆

Sid is doing- Brothers, Kapoor & Sons and Dharma-excel Katrina film. (Solo as far as I know)

Varun's only confirmed project with Dharma is Shhuddhi

Enough twisting hunh...😆

OT- yeah Kjo seems obssesed with Aloo 😆

Exactly! The obsession KJo has for Alia is nothing compared to Sid or Varun. He gives these two films...then what happens to those films is left to their abilities. While he goes and shoves her down everyone's throat...she is all the time with him. I am surprised she isnt judging IGT and JDJ too. Maybe next season!
