- Amarnath is lying in bed, the doctors tells them that his blood pressure must have risen drastically and that why he had this attack. He tells them to keep him away from tension. He goes out and see Dr. Rishab, and says when there is a doctor in the house why was there a need to call another on, Rishab says that he wasn't home at the time.
- Cynthia is crying at home, and Bunty asks her whats wrong. She says nothing, but he says I know, I was there and I heard everything. He says that he will never forgive Dadi, and Dada, and will never go to their house again because they made his mom cry. He asks Cynthia when they are going to their old house, she says we will ask Papa. He says once papa gets home he is going to ask him, Cynthia tells him no to bother his papa just yet.
- Rishab is talking to Dadi and saying that at least someone should be on my side, I need at least your support. Dadi says that no matter what your Dadi wants it never happens, even though I want to accept Cynthia and Bunty, you know I won't be able to, because I am helpess. He tells her that Cynthia has true love for them. Dadi goes, I know, when she took care of me, she showered me with all that love, and you already know how attached I am to Bunty. She says that when he goes home to tell Cynthia and Bunty that she apologizes to her for what everyone said here today. She says that those things did not need to be said to her. Rishab tells her not to apologize, she says then tells them that my blessing are always with them, because you know marriages are made in heaven.
- Shekar's mom calls, Devika picks up. She says good I wanted to talk to you, we are breaking off this engagement. Devika says please listen to me, and just meet me once. She says no, she already knows why they are breaking off this engagement. Shekar mom says that a driver is coming to return all the stuff they gave to Shekar, and that she should return their ring as well.
- Devika goes into their father's room where everyone is and is crying. She turns to Rishab and says thank you, you are such a great brother that you ruined my life. She grabs his hand, and puts the engagement ring in it. She says that what kind of brother are you, you are so selfish (a little ironic here, when she is the most selfish character on the show). She runs out crying. Uttra yells at Rishab to get out, Samman says mom just stop arguing now. Uttra says that don't defend him, if you want to go with him go, she tells them both to leave.
- Shekar is sitting tense at home when Arti comes up to him. He tells her its strange how people come into your life, you begin to like them and then they leave. Arti questions that if he like Devika why did he agree to break off the engagement. He says that he couldn't hurt his parents, and sometimes these things have to happen in life to make you a stronger person. Arti says why should you and Devika be punished, its not fair, I'm going to go talk to ma. He tells her no, that he can never hurt his parents in any way.
- Devika is crying in Dadi's lap and says why did this happen to me, my entire life is ruined. Rishab walks in and says Devika I need to say something to you. She says that I don't want to talk to you, and throws stuff at him to get him out. Samman takes Rishab out of the room.
- Amarnath is talking to Uttra about how Rishab deceived them for seven years. Uttra says that no, Rishab is not like this, I am sure that witch Cynthia told him to so all this. And then she purposely had a kid. She tells him everything is ok, like Samman came back to them, so will Rishab. Amarnath says that I don't think so, because he has a kid, and he will never leave the child. He tells her even if he did, he will never forgive Rishab. Amarnath and Uttra cry together.
- Samman is comforting Rishab who is crying. Samman says that maybe everyone has to go through a moment like this in their lives, I was forced to marry a girl who I didn't love. And you are being separated from the woman you love so much. Rishab says there is a big difference between you and me. You had the strength to tell the truth and I didn't. I have a son he says, and he will ask why his mother was made to cry, he will never forgive those who make his mother cry, he will have questions which I have no answers for. He says that he set such a bad example for his child. He says that whatever going on with Devika it is his fault, and it is only for him to rectify.
- Rishab goes to Shekar's door. Shekar answers it and asks him what he wants. Rishab begs for forgiveness and says please do not punish my sister for my crimes. Please marry her. Shekar asks him why he did, and he says that he didn't have the strength to tell anyone. Rishab repeats please don't punish my sister, Shekars answers what did my sister do to deserve this. He says that I never meant to hurt Arti, but how could I tell her something that I had not even told my family. Shekar asks if his parents accepted his family, Rishab nods no. Shekars says that they never will, because they have lost trust in you, and so has my family. Shekar says that he liked Devika, but he cannot hurt his parents, and shut the door. Freeze.
