A busy long weekend and you still managed to get this done?!

*******************************************

You outdo yourself every, single time- but this chapter... I think, this chapter was my favorite of them all. You brought some of the most difficult emotions to the forefront, and you excelled with them. This chapter made my throat close up and my eyes sting. You left me speechless. I'm struggling for words, and it's because nothing I say will do justice to how well you have written this.

Sofia's love overflows here. She reminds me of some people I love dearly. She doesn't even need to say how much she loves Khushi- her actions speak for themselves. She's so much warmth. She's the kind of person that just curling up next to will make you feel better. She embodies love, and what love should be- she loves blindly and unconditionally, and you know that when you need her... she'll always be there.

The struggle Khushi has gone through to come to this decision is so poignant, as is Arnav's stunned reaction to it. I love how Arnav didn't hold back on his own answer to the question- but he isn't pressuring her into agreeing with him. They respect each other, and they're there for each other- even if they disagree. And that is the most powerful part of this chapter- the squeeze of the hand, the hugs, the silent support even when they're at odds with each other... it's so different from what their relationship was at the beginning of this story. And for that, I can't help but be proud of them.

Phenomenal job, Di. Just... phenomenal.

Tu haan kar ya na kar
Tu hai meri Khushi hamesha ...

"Hamein poora bharosa hai aap par aapki story par"

Sofia Raizada's sage advice left me with a lump in my throat. We hanker for happiness which is seemingly just within grasp, overlooking that which is already surrounding us. Sofia Raizada's mother's heart took precedence over every other role here. Her daughter was suffering. Her happiness was suffering. And that, above all else, was what mattered to this peerless lady. It's a blessing to have your heart in the care of someone as altruistic as her. Someone able to rise above the bitterness which could so easily have engulfed her, given the vicissitudes of life she's endured.

I love the honesty you've shown between Arnav and Khushi. The courage to speak of their feelings. He's not sure how he feels, and is able to tell her so. She knows what she feels and is able to tell him so. They have come such a long way from where they were only weeks back. The way they both offer the other support when the other hesitates is so subtly brought out. At the same time, you've shown us their trepidation as well. Their fear of how it will affect their tentative steps towards rebuilding their relationship.

Jigs, your ability to explore relationships honestly is gripping. I am left empathising with Khushi even as I understand how Arnav is feeling. And with the conviction that,

Hope humbly then; with trembling pinions soar;

What future bliss, He gives not thee to know,

But gives that hope to be thy blessing now.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast:

Motherhood - a gift to many and moreso does not look at it when they have it easily however when one is not blessed with it; what goes behind that mind of couple- torment, agony, disappointment, every emotions... You have it here Jigs 👏 👏 👏

A couple who undergoes all the available treatment and yet is not able to conceive. A mother who sees her kids going through it and is ready to give away her dream of grand child. All those emotions that can run in family due to this is shown bang on. 👍🏼 But what was more disappointing here was that there is a mother out there who does not want to stand for her daughter during her worst time. Yes Khushi's parents and their story is yet to be revealed but there is nothing worst then knowing that your mom does not have time for you👎🏼. Knowing that your parents are there for you all the time is the biggest asset to the kid and here you have a child whose parents are not part of her grief😲 .
Kudos to Sofia and MIL like hers. They truly are the mothers. ⭐️ During the wedding rituals of my friend her priest gave her the meaning of SASU (MIL). According to him worlds most SAri (Best) and SUnder(Beautiful) lady is called SASU. Your update confirmed that definition👏

Bharosa; that is all I have for this roller coaster ride as you are doing a great job revealing this story. Still lots to unfold: Khushi's family history; Khushi's reason for divorce and more so happy ending. But will await for this roller coaster ride of yours to unveil this with each update😃

Regarding your survey: Every person is entitled for his/her decision. I don't think we can know what other person has gone through. We can try and understand but can not even empathize in such situation. It will be more like undecided😕

Good communication is less about saying what you mean, and more about defining what you say.

*************************************************************************************

Jigs, what an emotional update this was.

If last update gave a light feeling to the heart, this update brought tears in my eyes and a big heaviness in my heart.

Sofia was right when she said that we always concentrate on the things we dont have more than cherish what we indeed have.

Khushi and Arnav have so much love in between them. They have amazing family in the form of Anjali and co and awesome friends. I think for time being forgetting about having a baby would be the best path to take as of now.

But again I do not want to Khushi to take a decision of not having a baby at all. What is life without hope??? The fear of not conceiving or losing a conceived child should really not make Khushi lose hope in a happily ever after situation.

It is every woman's dream to be a mother one day. Why does Khushi want to give up that dream so easily? And also they have so many options too to have a baby now a days. They can go through surrogacy or adoption, so why give up hope without even trying.

I agree Khushi is not in that place to think of all the options now, but few months down the lane, she might have different hopes and dreams. So better to keep an open mind rather than making decisions in haste and when blinded by intense emotions. I am sure Sofia if alive today, would have said the same thing.

Coming to Arnav, I can understand why he wants to be a father so desperately. Being abandoned by his own father, he grew up deprived of fatherly affection. He probably wants to show the affection to his own child, what he wanted from his father. I hope Khushi understands where Arnav's state of mind is regarding this issue.

Finally Jigs, hamein bharosa aap par, aapke story per, aapke Arnav aur Khushi per.

We will sail through this storm and reach sunnier destinations if you are the captain of this ship as we trust you and your judgement.

So very painful for both khushi and arnav. though much much harder for khushi. Your chapter was so poignantly penned, i'm sure everyone must have had a lump in their throats while reading it,
Sofia was a gem, and what lovely relationship she had with khushi. how we all wish for a mother in law like her:) i hope my dear daughter in law and i can achieve the same.
What's with khushi's family? i want her to be happy and revel in Arnav's love and affection now, especially as he's trying so hard to make their marriage work. i'm sure with the two way communication now on track they'll figure a way out of this imbroglio too...our writer, or jigsji, has the journey mapped out.
waiting for the next chappie, you take care. hugs.
