CHAPTER 12
(After a few weeks Jalal send a letter to Jodha & Hamida saying that he will be back by tomorrow afternoon. Jalal comes Maha Anga doesn't know anything. Hamida, Gulbdan, Jiji Anga, Ruqaiya, Salima, Jodha, Rahim & Maan are on the gate. When Maham see them ask Resham) what happened is that Hindu leaving for ever (Pinaz & Najma come there laughing say together) looks like Shahansha's Badi Ammi... (Pinaz adds) Wazir e Aliya... (Najma adds) Maha Anga you don't know. (Bakshi & Mirza come there. Bakshi adds on) how will she know she is busy planning and plotting agaist bhabhi Jaan (Mirza says) thank you kudha! Finally Bhai Jaan has realised the people who are worth trusting & who are not (Moti come there, Moti respectfully says) Bakshi Banno Begum, Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum is calling you & you also Shahzade Mirza Hakim it is time (Hoshiyaar comes & says) it time for Shahansha to come (They leave. Maham is shocked to know this & specially that Jodha knows & she does not. Maham as usual come there to welcome Jalal. Jalal reaches there. Maham welcome him Jalal stops her says) yehi srif humari Ammi Jaan ka haq (to Hamida) Ammi Jaan aap humara isttibal nahi kareigi (Hamida comes forward hugs him. Jalal looking around walks in Ruqaiya walks towards him. Jalal goes towards Jodha & hugs her & make her wear bangles he caught her & starts waking towards his room everyone follows.He notices something is wrong but no one is saying anything. Jodha goes to her room and sits every one is happy, seeing her the begum start treating her like a maid. Pinaz & Najma come there. Pinaz says) Adaab Shahansha (Najma asking adds) aap kabh aayie (All of a sudden Jalal comes there & calls) Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum (Everyone is superised to see him as Maham had not told them Pinaz & Najma smirk at them. Some Begums says) Shahansha you here (Try to hug him.He pushes them away looks around & see some thing. Ruqaiya coming behind him says) Shahansha I thought you were coming to my room you came here (Jalal again calls) Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum (Ruqaiya says) I need to talk to you I will tell Hoshiyaar to call Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum don't worry..(Jalal goes in that direction he had already seen what was happening. That begum not realising why he was coming towards her pushed Jodha & Jodha got off balance she fell in Jalal arms. Jalal straightened her without waiting more went forward slapped that begum. Jodha had gone to her room quietly. Jalal asks) Begum-e-Khas Ruqaiya Begum (looking @ Nusheen & Nusraat) what are these two doing here I had punished them (Nusheen says) Wazir-e-Aliya Maha Anga finished our punishment (Jalal commands) Order Maha Wazir-E-Aliya Anga to come here right now (Maham ask) Shahansha you called me (Jalal questions) WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO GO AGAINST MY RIGHT THIS ONLY MARIAM MAKHANI MALIKA-E-AZZAM MY MOTHER HAMIDA BANNO BEGUM'S RIGHT (Maham says) they didn't do anything (Jalal angrily say) I am the Shahansha I will decide that (Maham says) They committed a error there is no need to humiliate them to that level you have just come you should rest (Jalal angry shouts) error ! Begum-E-Khas Ruqaiya Begum insulting my wife my Queen is a mistake (Ruqaiya replies) no it is Guhan-e-Azzami (Jalal question) what the punishment for it (Ruqaiya replies) sazza-e-Mauth, they both have been pardoned enough they are just taking advantage of being close Wazir-E-Aliya Maha Anga, Wazir-E-Aliya Maha Anga also deserve punishment for going agaist you order Shahansha (Jalal questions) Pinaz Begum what was happening here tell me the truth. (Pinaz told him how that begum had insulted Jodha. Najma Begum added by telling him that she even tried to take Jodha bangles & just because of them Jodha did what ever she said. Jalal realised she was only wearing bangles given by him again he was the reason of not saying anything again he became her weakness. Jalal commands) Hoshiyaar these two & this third one all should be given cloths that maid wear & they will do what they been told to do & you Wazir-E-Aliya Maha Anga once again you become the reason for Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum's hurt I will personally behead you.(Jalal cools down & says) Pinaz Begum (Looking @ Najma asks) you are Najma (Najma says) yes Shahansha.. (Jalal cuts in) I expect you both to support to Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Jodha Begum like this always (Then looks around for Jodha. Doesn't see her. A bandhi comes & say) Shahansha, Shahzade Mirza Hakim Saahab & Shahazadi Bakshi Banno Begum want to meet you (Jalal tells Ruqaiya) Begum-e-Khas Ruqaiya to moniter these three & see to it done what said is done (He talks to Mirza & Bakshi, Ruqaiya is with him Hamida, Gulbdan, Jiji Anga & Salima come there. Ruqaiya goes from there thinking Jalal will come to her in night. Night falls Jalal is in his room waiting to see Jodha he is worried so he decided to go to her, he got a secret path made to Jodha room from his room directly. He see Jodha is busy with Rahim. Once Rahim goes to sleep Jodha send him to Salima. Jodha then thinks of going to Jalal she starts to walk out of the room & bumps into Jalal. Jalal teasingly asks) Jodha aab aapko vakth mil gaya, dupahar se hum kitani bechaan the the aap se Milne ke liye (Jodha replies) voh hum ... Jalal humre paas aapke liye kuch hai.(Jodha gets something. Jalal asks) yehi tofa kyoun(Jodha smiling says) yehi uphar...aap yudh se vijay ho ke aaye hai (Jalal says) humare jung ko fathe karne ka tofa hai...agar aap hum kuch dena hi chahate toh hum yehi batiye jab hum yahain nahi toh kisne aapko takleef toh nahi pohache (Jodha teasingly says) yehi aacha hai yahain par bhi man mani, humare Jalal humara uphar lena toh dur dekhne bhi nahi chahate hai (Jalal says) asie baat nahi hai, dekhiye (see a very lavishly embroiled kings court made by hand in both Rajputana and Mughal way & adds asking) yehi aapne bannaiye hai, behad khubsoorate hai (Jodha hugging him) Dhaniyevaad Jalal (Jalal asks) intane kam vakth mein kaise.(Jodha replies) humare paas samay hi samay tha jab aap yahain nahi aapko yaad karte karte banna deya (Jalal says) Jodha hum aapse behintihaa mohhabat karte hai aur hum aab bas aapke saath vakth bitaiyage, (hugs her) jo hume aapke bahon mein sakoon milna hai voh jang fathe kar bhi nahi milna. (They spend the night together in each other's arms.Next morning he wakes up with her bhajan, he does his nawaas, come to him she gives him aarti he puts sindoor in her maang.He pulls her into a his arms & says) aap jaanti hum chahate hai humari har subha asie ho (Jodha says) aap shaayad bhule rehe aabhi aap Amer mein nahi Agra mein hai jaaiye teiyaar hogaiye Shahansha aap ka sab aapke pratiksha kar rehe hoge. (He takes her face in his hand & kisses her on the lips they both share a kiss. When Jodha opens her eyes he is gone.
Pre Cap: Jodha overhears Adham plan to attack Jalal. She tells Ruqaiya & Salima.
