Well it's true. I really don't think he was big enough back when Badlapur was releasing for people to wish him failure. Now after ABCD's massive success, yes it's a different story. Still, there is something annoying with statements like "everyone wanted ____ to fail" no matter who makes it. I roll my eyes every time KJo starts his BV analysis, and I mostly like that guy.

It's an entertainment forum. We want to discuss people we don't like as much as people we like. Having said that the interview was too long for me to read all of it. But my involvement started with a discussion about Sid and it went from there.

I do believe kids indeed love him, it was actually my li'l bro who was a big fan of VD post SOTY 😆 that's how I started liking the guy & eventually became an ardent admirer of Varun...

Quite a sane IV; pretty long though 😆 really happy for him & ABCD2 team they deserve every bit of that success...I remember when the 1st trailer came out that too right after the unanimously praised DDD Trailer, abcd2 trailer was panned like no tomorrow here ppl called it worse than BV 😆 I am sure not many expected abcd2 (a proper ramadan release) to take the highest opening of the year so far...

Coming to Badlapur, it was a huge risk and glad it paid off wonderfully for him :)
