Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have no idea how to thank Sajid Nadiadwala, who has helped them to recover their dues from Saif Ali Khan.

The story goes that the Nawab of Pataudi quit Excel's film Mr Chaalu without returning the signing amount of Rs 2 crore. Despite reminders, Saif did not comply.

Seeing no other option, Farhan and Ritesh had filed a complaint with the Association of Motion Pictures and Television Program Producers (AMTPP).

Now, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is the president of the association, has stepped in to calm matters. He is close to Saif and is also producing Saif's next Rangoon directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Sources say he spoke to Saif and made him understand that this was a pointless obstinacy and life would be much easier for everyone involved if he just returned the signing amount.

Saif has finally agreed to return the money to Farhan and Ritesh, and he'll be doing it soon.

A calm word can do more wonders than a harsh complaint isn't it?

Inn logon ki paise ki bhookh kabhi nahin mitegi. Talk about integrity or lack of. If you're not doing the film, just return the signing amount.

This is so embarrassing !

He is paid at least 8 crore even if he is not doing so well, isn't newbies like sidharth, varun etc. getting 4-5 cr.? then Saif must be at least getting 8 crore for his films ! he also does TVCs, shows, attends events etc. and he of course has done so many films through several decades so his bank is full of money, he and his family wears high end brands, goes to swiss, london, maldives and several other places, dines at most expensive places, drinks expensive wine etc. and still steals 2 crore. this is so cheap and tacky.

If I was Saif I would have returned the 2 crore right away, and that too from a production house who he has been close to for years how cheap to steal from them, it must be so awkward now, I guess he got really mad when they gave him a reality check by not paying what he did demand for the film, he has to realize that his market value has gone down.

Yeah he got no star power at all and he shows lots of attitude during script sessions and recently refused several good scripts just because they did not agree to pay him the ridiculous amount of money he demanded. He is delusional he believes he can deliver at the box office despite several disasters he has given recently..

I wonder what he is paid these days.

Script Sense iska shuro se hi dhilla hai, he rejected DDLJ, socho abhi Saif hota Srk ki jagah at that stardom with that film 😆

This is so embarrassing. And that too with those who gave him DCH when no one was even willing to have him as a third lead.

If they are not paying him which he rightly does not deserve after numerous back to back flops..what is wrong in that? He is not even worth giving 1 crore to as any project with his name attached already spells bad luck

But this was illegal and a crime more like..you cannot keep the signing amount if you aren't doing the movie..shameful

Talk about inflated ego. Like they say..empty vessels make the most noise..buzz off to another vacation!
