Ajinkya Rahane to lead India in Zimbabwe tour !

Ajinkya Rahane will lead the 15-man squad for the Zimbabwe tour, with several senior players including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan being rested. Umesh Yadav found a place in the India A team. But Ravindra Jadeja was dropped.

No specialist wicketkeeper was named in the 15-man squad. Harbhajan Singh, who made his Test comeback earlier this month, was picked to play in the limited-overs sides.

Cheteshwar Pujara captain of the India A squad for a home triangular series against Australia A and South Africa A, which begins on July 19. It will be Rahul Dravid's first series as coach of the India A side.

The Indian ODI squad for the Zimbabwe tour: Ajinkya Rahane(captain), Murali Vijay, Ambati Rayudu, Manoj Tiwary, Kedar Jadhav, Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Harbhajan Singh, Axar Patel, Karn Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni, Stuart Binny, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Sandeep Sharma.

India A squad: KL Rahul, Abhinav Mukund, Cheteshwar Pujara (capt), Karun Nair, Shreyas Iyer, Naman Ojha, Vijay Shankar, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Shardul Thakur, Varun Aaron, Abhimanyu Mithun, Umesh Yadav, Shreyas Gopal, B Aparjit.

Batting looks Weak. Should have included Raina since he wont play tests.

Kedar Jadhav's inclusion is surprising. Good chance for Tiwari and Pandey. Selectors should have given a chance to Sanju Samson or Naman Ojha at least. Most pleasing news is that Sir Jadeja has been dropped now 👏
