" Oh that's why you were fighting! But the park is now closed so please leave!" sighed the policeman who felt bad that he couldn't lay his hands on the gorgeous girl in front of him.
Arnav walked away from there without even looking at Khushi, but he knew that her intense gaze was still tracing the path his feet followed. Khushi walked but not even for a second did she stop looking at him with all the love she had in her heart for him.
She didn't realize when the redemption, the pain and the guilt in her got transformed into love but now she was determined to make the love in her heart, triumph and she vowed that she would not let Arnav hate her.

" Don't even think that I think of you in that way! You mean nothing to me, Khushi Gupta! Nothing at all! We have no relationship except that of hatred!" said Arnav, through gritted teeth with immense anger and hatred but only he knew how much his heart bled while enunciating each and every word of the sentence.
He walked away from there but she was left behind, in the place where she was, replicating what happened exactly 6 years before. He had left her in pain, in guilt and most of all in love. She moved on for the world but inside she was still the same Khushi who wanted Arnav's love and loved his presence, his attention and him.
She hadn't realized when tears streamed down her slightly flushed cheeks. She silently wiped them off her cheeks and made her way towards the party as she was sure NK would be worried for her.

Khushi was right. NK was searching her in the entire party and was about to go out to look for her when he bumped himself to Khushi, who instantly lost her balance and required NK to stabilize her by holding her waist.
" Hey Khush! You okay? Where were you? You know how worried I was!" bombarded NK with questions which never seemed to cease.
" Chillax, NK! I just went out to have some fresh air. There was too much of noise in the party so just got a mild headache." said Khushi, while straightening herself up and slightly distancing herself from NK.
" But you could have informed right?" asked NK, with a serious look on his face, which made him look cute.
"I am sorry, baba! Now forgive me. I will never repeat this mistake again." said Khushi, while holding his hand inbetween hers.
Suddenly the lights turned off, and they realized that the dancefloor was open for people. And NK being the host and Khushi being the guest of honor, they had to dance first.
NK pulled Khushi along with him to the dancefloor to sway to light romantic beats playing in the background. While a slight smile played on both their faces while dancing, Arnav's looks were worth looking at.
The wine filled glass in his hands, would have cried at its fate on being in hands, which were on the verge to break it due to the building up frustration and jealousy in him.
As he saw NK and Khushi dancing closely, he felt something being snatched away from him, a piece of heart being broken.
He hated her, didn't he?
But maybe there was love hidden under that hatred, which begged to come out from the dreaded cover of hatred, but so much was the hatred that it over-powered the all-over-powering love.
However, as they say jealousy takes away the best of you. Arnav threw away the glass in his hands and proceeded to dance with some random girl on the dance floor, to evoke the same feelings in Khushi.
But he didn't know that, the love which Khushi had for him, would never result in jealousy but only in pain.
Love was a bad disease which destroyed their live forever. They could never be those happy-go-lucky or careless people they had been in each other's company in the past. Their past had influenced their present so much that their hearts craved for each other, their souls pined for each other but distances were painfully created by them.
A feeling which Arnav wanted to suppress and leave unrecognized, started brewing in his heart as he saw Khushi laughing heartily in the solacing arms of NK.
She used to laugh for him like that, right?
But now he knew that he will never be able to make her laugh like before. He himself broke the relation then how can he go back and ask for it to be joined?
And how can one forget his ego, which would stop him even if his mind wanted it to happen?
His already broken heat was breaking into more pieces, as he saw an elegant smile dancing on Khushi's lips and a flirtatious look appear on NK's face. How can he not recognize flirtatious looks when he himself had it plastered on his face, 6 years ago?
He was dancing with the girl for the sake of it, but his eyes were dancing on the sensuous body of Khushi, which was well revealed from the translucent layers of the green fabric, she was wearing.
He couldn't act for long and he knew it. He signed the DJ to announce the change of partners and immediately he saw a saddened face which was of NK's, followed by Khushi's.
Maybe she likes his company and presence.
As soon as the grip on Khushi was gone, a stronger grip was found on her waist and this time it was of a person who was in every thought, every dream of hers. And it was a touch, which still managed to send shivers across her spine and could still have the same effect on her as it had 6 years back.
What had happened 6 years back that everything changed so drastically?
