I lifted her head off from my lap before it became too unbearable for me, but she had pushed me down on the bed and had climbed on top of me, lying on my chest.
"Whoa," I said, "Sanyukta get off."
"Nooo," she said and then pressed her body further against mine, causing me to groan loudly.
She couldn't be squished against me like this - not if I had to keep my hands off her.
"Why are you clinging onto me?" I groaned.
Here I was, trying to stay sober when I knew that the alcohol was badly affecting me too. She was making it so difficult for me.
"I want to know how it feels to kiss a guy," Sanyukta said with a pout, "Will you please kiss me?"
I rolled over on the bed so that she was lying down, before I got up.
"I'm an asshole remember?" I asked her. "Why would you want to kiss an asshole?"
"You are hot," she said to me, and my mouth dropped open.
Did she just call me hot?
"Really?" I then asked, a teasing smile forming on my lips. "What makes you say that?"
"You're annoying but you're very good looking... if I had a boyfriend, he has to look like you," she stated.
"Sorry I don't have a twin," I responded nonchalantly.
"Randhiiir," Sanyukta whined. "Please come down on me."
Did she just ask me to go down on her? My mouth nearly dropped open when she said that, and I felt my heart beat faster than ever. I knew it was probably a very innocent question and my mind was just coming up with dirty excuses.
"No," I said, having a hard time.
Then she sat up and got up from the bed before throwing her arms around me tightly. I couldn't help it - I hugged her back, and I felt like I lost myself in this embrace. Her body fit perfectly in mine... it was like it was meant to be. Wait - what? When had I started believing in this meant to be nonsense?
"Randhir, kiss me," she whispered.
I thought to the bet, and my impaired mind told me that I had to win, just to show her who was superior.
"Okay," I then said.
"Okay?" she asked, sounding delighted.
"Yes," I replied.
Then I wrapped my arms around her waist and dropped her down on the bed, before leaning over her and stroking her cheek.
I watched as her eyes closed and a smile formed on her lips.
"I hope you're a good kisser," she told me.
"You should be more concerned about yourself," I said to her, almost rolling my eyes.
Then I closed the gap between our mouths and pressed my lips against hers softly.
Sanyukta Agarwal and I were kissing. Period girl and I were kissing. I was drunk... so was she. We were kissing. It was not registering. As I deepened the kiss, she didn't fight - she kissed me back.
I was in a daze - I was kissing this girl I hated. What was wrong with me? Yes, she was very good looking... but that didn't mean I had to go around kissing her... that bet I made earlier had just been to annoy her. I was trying to show her that I had power.
As much as I tried to yell to myself in my mind that this was not right - that kissing period girl was not right, I couldn't help it, I kept on kissing her. I enjoyed it... I enjoyed it a lot.
Her hands buried themselves deep in my hair and I stroked her cheek, causing her to shiver.
"This is so messed," I muttered against her lips, trying to fight my feelings.
I was absolutely mad.
"So messed," she repeated, agreeing with me.
"You're period girl," I said against her lips.
Then she pushed me off of her and began to cry - and I felt guilty immediately. Why would I say that? Oh yeah... because I enjoyed taunting her.
"You're such a bas***d," she said out loud, tears pouring down her face. "I hate you! You embarrassed me!"
"Sorry," I murmured, feeling really bad.
Or maybe I just wanted her to stop crying so I could satisfy my raging hormones and kiss her again.
"No you're not sorry!" Sanyukta wailed. "Today you're saying sorry, tomorrow you'll go back to calling me period girl and embarrassing me!"
I reached out to hold her shoulder with shaking hands.
"Please... I'm sorry?" I apologized, "I won't be mean to you again."
She looked at me with glossy eyes.
"You'll let me work on the project?" she asked me.
I nodded.
"Yeah, I will," I said to her.
"Promise?" she asked me.
"Promise," I replied to her.
Then she threw her arms around me, engulfing me in a tight hug. I hugged her back, enjoying the feeling of having her so close to me.
"You really won't be mean to me again?" she asked softly.
"I won't... I promise," I said to her, hoping I meant it... but I didn't trust myself to keep this promise.
"Then we can be friends," she said, as I felt her hot breath on the crook of my neck.
"Yeah... we... can," I replied, having a hard time controlling my urges.
Screw it - I couldn't do this.
I laid her down on the bed and kissed her on the lips again.
Chapter 9
Her lips on mine were intoxicating. More than the alcohol, I think her lips were making me go crazier, causing me to lose my insanity. What was she doing to me? Why was period girl so addicting?
"Randhir," she mumbled from under me, but I pushed my tongue inside of her mouth, wanting to taste more of her.
"S - stop," she started to say.
I removed my lips from hers and looked at her inquisitively. Why was she telling me to stop? Did she not like this? Did she sober up? Oh no! What if she got angry?
"What happened?" I asked, my heart beating fast, wanting to do nothing more than devour her body right then and there.
"No... I feel like... puking," she said, and then she started to gag.
Gross. That was absolutely gross.
"Wait," I said, and then helped her up from the bed and walked her to the window.
I opened the window and held her head outside, facing downwards. I held her hair back as she puked. The smell of puke filled my nostrils, and I cringed, but I couldn't help but look at her innocent face and feel myself melt a bit... wait... did I just think of her as innocent? This girl was the devil! She was nowhere near innocent.
After she had finished puking, she leaned into me and held me tightly. I hugged her back. Soon her breathing steadied, and I anxiously pulled her body off mine.
Sanyukta had passed out.
I sighed with relief - she wouldn't remember anything in the morning. Picking her up in my arms, I staggered towards the bed, and dropped her. I pulled her covers up to her chin and then fell onto my knees on the ground beside her.
I was silently praying that she wouldn't be a mess tomorrow morning. I hoped that she really wouldn't remember a thing.
I rested my head on the bed as I fell asleep, in a sitting up position.
