Though most young actors are pretty open about their personal lives, Varun Dhawan has managed to keep his lovelife hidden. Though it is common knowledge that he has been in a steady relationship with long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal, he refuses to acknowledge his equation. He says, "I am not hiding it. I am just not talking about it.Even before I entered the industry I had decided that I will not talk about my personal life. To be very honest, the media and actors go hand-in-hand. They both need each other. While it is interesting to read gossip, a big section of the audience today is much smarter. They know what's rubbish and what's true. If every week, an actor is getting linked with a new actress, they will also know that this is being done to stay in the news. People are interested in what work you are doing. If you are doing a bad job, people want to know about your personal life because there is no work to be interested in."

Varun seriously?? What about your link-ups with several co-stars besides having actually a girlfriend? So you also wanted to stay in news? Since your girlfriend is not someone famous nobody is interested in her so why should they ask you?? And only having hits still doesnt mean that people are waiting for your projects first impress with your acting and not with first day collection since other actors achieved the same.

But who is Varun?

His PR has been leaking stories about Alia all the time, his PR has made him stay in news by creating a love triangle between varun-alia-sidharth and it was his PR who made sure photographers clicked pictures of Varun and his girlfriend outside his house.

Varun seems really bitter and insecure of the kind of media buzz surrounding Ranbir

He only made sense and said the truth..but truth is too bitter to digest. Salad stories are not enough to drag people to cinemas..and why would he be insecure of some one giving back to back disasters where as he is giving solo consecutive hits back to back..kuch bi

Sounds like he's taking digs at quite a few people here. Saying people are only interested in your personal life when you are doing a bad job was unnecessary.

He himself has been linked with quiet a few costars and non-costars alike. And let's face it, if Natasha Dalal was an actress or a famous Bollywood personality then the media would be all over his relationship too.

Celebrity couples always attract attention...ranbir katrina deepika ranveer virat anushka have all done well...hits n flops happen to everyone...doesnt have any relevance to ppls interest in their personal lives

Dont ever say such things pata nahi next thing you know varun is medias new bakra. He has 2 movies coming up with alia. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai bhai. Same thing happened with kat.
