So beautifully explained.

He has numerous flaws and has made more mistakes than Ragini. For the separation that happened 15 years back I totally blamed him.

But right now I cannot help but feel for him. His words and the sincerity with which he spoke got to be enough to convince you of the intensity of his love and feelings for her.

And you have so rightfully said that he has all the right to feel sad over losing her to someone else. That was no drama and not a charade (like R labels his love and concern) and not an attempt to gain sympathy by showing himself miserable. He was just shedding tears in silence and talking his heart out to an Alzheimer's patient not to the whole wide world.

I couldn't agree more on the fact that his tears were indeed genuine and so was his pain.

How much arrogantly he behaves in front of R is his shield to protect himself from the hurt that her engagement is causing him. Aman maybe perfect but I'm sure he cannot love her as deeply as N does. And i'm also sure his current behavior with Aman is just a phase and soon enough he'll be the one askign her to marry him if that makes her happy. Right now he is sort of in disbelief about the whole thing. Wait until Ragini asks him to stay away from Aman and leave them alone, he definitely will listen to her.

Also the acting was indeed great but I loved the scene for its content, dialogues and also because it perfectly fits in the present situation.

Nachiket probably was solely responsible for the breakdown of their marriage the first time around, but I do feel Ragini was very very harsh on him the second time around. He could have dealt with Aarav issue in a better way, but he has been a father in absentia..He erred and she should not have given up on him like that.. Nachiket did not want to break up, so it is obvious he would be more hurt of the two, and finding it more difficult to get over it. I so so wish they can work it out once again.. They dont seem to have matured in the 15 years afa handling relationships is concerned- you dont give up so easily on the person you love so much..
The 'main abhi zinda hoon na' bit stayed with me for long.. how I wish someone loved me like that :)

I agree completely.

of course the way he dealt with Aarav was totally wrong and irresponsible but Ragini breaking ties with him was just not done and fair.

And because he did not want the break up but Ragini, is the only reason i tend to feel more for him when he is sad on losing her and i dont feel much for Ragini when she complains she is not with her love.

Yes, new compared to some of you here and mostly a passive reader since the time leap :).
but you will see me around much more since there are lot of Nachiket Ragini scenes now.. I am an absolute sucker for their chemistry. 😃
Are you new here? If so, good to see you! 😃 Yes RR was fantastic and made the scene so much better. On the part who was wrong and who not, that is an endless discussion. We all have our opinions on both. Personally, I believe both were wrong perhaps in a different way though.
Anways...yes, that ''mein abhi zinda hoon'' was beyond touching...speechless!

Good to see you here! Will read your FF soon. Please stay active, some wild and funny discussions going on in the forum 😆
Join the bandwagon of suckers for NeiRa romance/chemistry 😳😳😆

Thanks Filza.

I do agree with you! Yes whatever had happened 15 years ago was indeed solely his mistake.
But that scene was too emotional and very deep. His love for Ragini was never gone and perhaps became stronger than ever, especially now when he sees her with Aman.

Nachiket needs to undergo some changes in his behavior if he wants Ragini back in his life, so first of all he needs to let go of that ego and stop taunting Ragini about Aman.

Abhi bhi waqt hai...let's hope that engagement doesn't turn into a wedding... 🤢

No doubts on his love. Its just his priorities get messed up and his ways are wrong.
How i hate it when he taunts her about her and Aman. But i understand its just his defence mechanism at the moment. He cannot tolerate them together. He can only go weak or bitter. He cannot ignore.

And he doesnt want to go weak and bring to the front how he feels because he doesnt want her to know it hurts him as he thinks she will then use his weakness to her advantage so he is being mean.

He needs to let go of his ego and also needs to realise lying and hiding things is not the correct way, for his and her relationship to work out.

The engagement leading to wedding will be a nightmare.

True that. Completely agree. Yes, he uses it as his defense mechanism. Like I said, men like Nachiket don't cry easily but sometimes it is okay to show your emotional side. I bet Ragini does know what it hurts him, lekin she doesn't understand the depth of his pain since he is not showing it.

It is a deadly combination of jealousy and pain which leads to taunts and other unnecessary hurtful words. Would have been great if Ragini had seen his tears or if she had overheard them. But then, the creative head would have been left with no story 😕😆
