Maybe they delayed or postponed consummation because they have changed the track and are thinking about the leap.

People may throw jhootas at me...but seriously if this is the line of thinking for the makers (which God knows how they think bc I still can't pin point it)...show a satvik 2nd C but good lord, imply to the viewers that they've done it.

It looks ridiculous that they have been playing ring around the rosie since at least November 2014.
The scenario is totally bizarre & unreal, so they need to move on at this point.
