I have been thinking about this too... and it puzzles me.. In the flashback, Urmila left Utkarsh with Siyali and made her promise that she will never let go of him... Siyali has kept her promise since then and like a true friend always been there for Utkarsh...she has been like this light always guiding him on the right path.. And this is one of the reasons of my confusion.. Why does Urmila hate Siyali ? She didn't seem to hate her in the flashback scene.. otherwise she wouldn't have trusted her with her own son's custody who she seems to love so much... and Siyali's Rajput name is another source of confusion... the om bracelet on her hand that she gave to Utkarsh, is owned by Sid too...

My theory- Utkarsh is Urmila's son from another man in her life who probably died or something in an accident.. and Siyali is this man's own daughter from his own wife..That man must be a rich guy and a Rajput too I am guessing.,. This man may have been Sid's father Prateek Rajput's friend with a common sirname.. So Sid is Urmila and Prateek Rajput's son and Siyali is Prateek's friend Mr.X Rajput and his wife's daughter.. In short, Urmila had an extra marital or probably got pregnant before marriage with this man and had Utkarsh.. In that sense, Sid and Utkarsh are''step brothers with a common mother that is Urmila Rajput'' ..Now to save herself from public humiliation in the society, her mother in laws wrath and possibility of getting kicked out from the Rajput house, Urmila could have hatched a plan to kill her ''lover'' in a staged accident where she claimed that Siyali's father, her mother ,Siyali and their son utkarsh ( who is actually her son) got killed.. But in reality she killed Siyali's father and gave away the two of them to orphanage..

Regarding the bracelet, who knows ... Prateek Rajput, may have given one to Siyali when she was born.. as a gift from Rajput family, which she gave away to Utkarsh..

So basically Urmila has many skeletons hidden in her closet which she fears might tumble out one day if Siyali sticks around in WH..I think she didn't have a happy marriage with Sid's father..a nice man who got betrayed by his wife.. that is why Urmila has a strained relationship with Anwesha and Sid..makes sense? somewhat? 😆
