Fans More Excited to See Alia Bhatt Opposite Varun than Sid

In her next two films (after "Shaandar" and "Udta Punjab"), Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing her "Student of The Year" co-stars Sidharth Mahotra and Varun Dhawan. The actress has already started shooting for "Kapoor and Sons" with Sidharth and is slated to begin shooting with Varun for "Shuddhi" after that. In a poll conducted by India-West, we asked fans to tell us who they are more excited to see Alia pair up with - Sidharth or Varun. And even though Alia is rumored to be dating Sidharth and the audience hasn't seen them on the big screen together since their debut film, it looks like they are most eager to see Alia reprise her chemistry with Varun for the third time after "SOTY" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya." The poll results, in fact, turned out to be quite lop-sided. A whopping 68.8% readers voted for Varun's paring with Alia in "Shuddhi." While Alia surely has an amazing on screen chemistry with both these hot hunks, for now the audiences seem super excited about seen Varun-Alia back together. Guess Alia-Varun's onscreen chemistry wins over Alia-Sidharth's alleged off-screen relationship.

Not really surprised by this poll. SOTY was 3 years ago, it will be four years by the time K&S come out. It also wasn't a romance film by any means. Other then the kissing scene, which I thought was very well shot and the no words exchange at the wedding Alia and Sid hardly had any scenes together. HSKD was a full blown romantic movie with scenes and songs galore between Varun and Alia.

Also the fact that Shuddhi is a far more exciting project than K&S. That helps too.
