Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut - how Bollywood loves to stereotype these actors!

Kangana Ranaut is there in your film? I know what she is doing there...
Bollywood is an industry where 80% of the films produced survive on cliches and stereotypes. The rest either don't get released, or roam around in festival circuit, before barely managing to find a release here. Then we have rare gems like Badlapur and Piku, that do their best to not fall for conventions and go beyond the unexpected.
But, as I said before, many of the films cater to cliches and people's expectations, without even trying to go beyond them or take a risk. This even applies to certain actors who are now slowly getting typecast into one type of character or role. No matter what they play in each film, all share a basic common persona...
So let's look at few such actors who really need to change their image asap, before the public starts getting weary...Starting off with the most obvious...
Gangster, Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel, Queen, Fashion, Revolver Rani and now Katti Batti (or what we have seen of her till now in the trailer...), most of Kangana's roles are all variation of one persona - being the wild, bold and carefree lady...
Salman Khan will bash 50 men at the drop of an eye-lid, but he will also pause to offer a flower to a little girl. He has been doing the same kind of roles since Wanted. Going by all his blockbuster successes, we don't expect him to change his roles soon.
Sunny Deol is known for doing all kinds of roles Salman Khan is now famous for, except with lesser successes (these days...) and that he plays a Jat in almost every film...
Blame it on Rang De Basanti or Satyamev Jayathe, but Mr. Perfectionist is looking for roles that provide him a window for social commentary. True, there is a Talaash and aDhoom 3 (yikes!) somewhere, but then there isPK, 3 Idiots, Taare Zameen Par. Even his voice-over role in Dil Dhadakne Do make him more of a social commentator than a narrator.
Everyone loves Geet from Jab We Met! In fact, it's one of the best roles Kareena Kapoor ever did! But that doesn't mean she has to bring herGeet persona in every movie after that!!! There is nothing boring than over-exposure...
Most of Ranveer's roles are an extension of his real-life persona. I know people love his wackiness, but that doesn't mean he has to play himself again and again...Do give us a Looterasometimes...
He is trying his best to change his image withEk Villain and Lai Bhaari, we still can't take hisKya Kool Hain Hum and Masti identities out of our mind. What to do, we really love him such roles!
Poor Sunny Leone! She came to Bollywood to take a respite from her previous career (C'mon, don't act as if you have no clue as to what I am saying...), but we insist that the clothes stay off her. Whether she plays a top actress or an international pop star, the clothes had to go...But then, that's the only aspect worth watching in her movies!
