Sidharth Malhotra to replace Fawad Khan in Battle For Bittora'?

As recently reported by BizAsia, Fawad Khan had informed producers of his upcoming films that he would not be shooting any kissing scenes. This has apparently upset some producers and rumours are now doing the round that the actor may be replaced in Rhea Kapoor's Battle For Bittora'.

The 28-year-old, who has previously produced Aisha' (2010) and Khoobsurat' (2014), is allegedly in talks with Sidharth Malhotra for the same film. While it is possible that Malhotra is being considered for a different role in the film, sources claim that the actor will be replacing Fawad Khan.

Battle For Bittora' will star the producer's sister, Sonam Kapoor, in the lead role. If Malhotra does come on board, it will be the first time he is cast opposite Kapoor.

Don't know about replacement but recently Rhea confirmed on twitter that it'll take time.Probably because PRDP and Neerja.

Not sure how to react to this. Sonam-Rhea projects aren't exceptional, at best a semi hit product.

The shooting of the Neerja Bhanot biopic starring Sonam Kapoor in the titular role has been wrapped up.

The film's shoot has been wrapped up in a quick 32-day schedule, aboard a replica of the Pan Am airbus created especially for the movie.

Photographer Atul Kasbekar, who is turning a producer with 'Neerja', confirmed via Twitter.

"Amazing! And it's a wrap on #Neerja !!! 32 shooting days!!! That's Two More days than #Birdman took! Shucks," Kasbekar tweeted.

Kasbekar also thanked the film's cast for reposing their faith in him.

"Thank u @AzmiShabana @sonamakapoor @foxstarhindi n @roo_cha for taking a big leap of faith wt a couple of 1st time producers," he added.

Neerja Bhanot was the flight attendant of the ill-fated Pan Am Flight 73 that was hijacked by four terrorists in Karachi when it arrived there from Mumbai in September 1986. Against all odds Neerja defended the passengers and even laid down her life while doing the duty.

Sonam Kapoor, who plays Neerja, says it's the toughest role of her career.

It's not just one kiss. In the book, the couple are very passionate. There's a lot of making out happening. I read the book after hearing Fawad would star in the film, but after reading, I realized there's no way Fawad would agree to all that.

I'm guessing they tried to reach a compromise but it's not working out.

But if he is not doing better they cast Abhay.
