Ok, since I work in a mental health hospital, I know people attempt suicide when they're at their most irrational state, sometimes over trivial reasons or because they're feeling too emotional, but I have NEVER heard one case till now where a woman tried to kill her 1 year old baby along with herself. 🤢 NOTHING can justify that, and I blame no one but the CVs. I just hate how they portrayed Lakshmi, because no woman who loves children as much as Lakshmi did would kill her child along with herself. Maybe she would kill herself, yes, but she would spare her child.

The CVs are simply horrible people, handling suicide in such a crass manner!

Being modern and educated has nothing to do with it. Anyone can commit suicide, even the most educated person. The point is that Lakshmi's character was so inconsistent. They made it seem as if she and Subbu had a loving marriage but then she believed some random lady out of nowhere. No happy wife would immediately believe such news. She would question her husband and hear his side of the story.

Even if she did want to kill herself, no loving mother would kill her child too. The CVs lost it.

She had not trust in Subbu

Subbu se zyaada pagal toh mujhe Laxmi lagi

The rumors killed Laxmi and Karti really?

Kartik was in the arms of Rumors???

What kind of a mother would want her child to die?

If she thought that after her death Subbu would mistreat Kartik so she could have thought about her mother taking Kartik in

This track was not well planned or thought trough

Yes toshiji was at fault but u never know what mental state Lakshmi was in? On top of that Subbu was already forcing her to have another child, which she cud not have? So somewhere, lack of proper communication in Subbu's marriage led to all this.

I do not blame anyone for a suicide attempt, because no one knows what mental state they're in, but I do blame Lakshmi for killing Karthik. What she did was not just suicide, it was murder, and for that I have zero sympathy for her. No one is to blame for Karthik's murder but Lakshmi. No mother should ever kill her child for what she's going through. That's purely selfish and cruel. What right did Lakshmi have to dictate whether Karthik should or should not live? Had Lakshmi killed herself only, I may have pitied her, but I hate her character for murdering an innocent baby.

As for Toshiji, I honestly don't blame her at all. She was simply looking out for her own niece, and anyone in her situation would do the same. Yeah, maybe it would have been smarter to talk to Subbu than Lakshmi, but whatever she did, she did to protect her niece. No one thinks that just because you tell a wife her husband is cheating on her, she'll commit suicide. This is not the medieval age after all! 🥱

Honestly, Lakshmi has the biggest blame in all this, though she's already dead. It was simply easier for Subbu and Sujata to blame the Bhallas, rather than facing the truth.

Yes, exactly! And did she do any better? She thought Subbu would mistreat Karthik, but she killed him. 🤬
