He was feeling low. When his brother said he is leaving, he did not ask him to stay back. His eyes nodded painfully and he went to his chamber to stay alone.
When he looked at the article about Ananya's dad, his face turned serious. He got philosophical ... and yet
when Ananya entered the room his tone changed ... "Kya badiya news padaai apne... ". He goes on praising her. Ananya, who is blushing with his flattering words does not notice the pain in his eyes.
Kabir keeps catering to everyone's wants, appreciation for Ananya, attention to Malavika, TRPs for Khalid, hiding his real self. Wish Ananya noticed his eyes. But she was so self absorbed to notice others. This is where she needs to grow. Understanding others, be it is Kabir or Ronnie.
One thing I failed to understand in yesterday's episode was, why Kabir went away from Malavika and Khalid to receive Ananya's phone? He has flirted with Mavika and the painter, openly in office. If he has no attraction towards Ananya, he should not have hesitated to receive the call in front of them. Or if he felt (as a professional) his action would put his junior on spot, he could have ignored that call then and could have called back later. Later he cannot claim in front of Ananya, he only considered her as a colleague or friend. There is always transparency in friendship. This was something else.
