why manish malhotra is so popular? does anyone other than celebrities wears his clothes? do these celebrities get to take dress home or they have to return them? is manish malhotra dress very expensive?

He is very papular. He desined clothes for karishma kapoor in Raja Handustani and gave her completly different look than what she had in her previous movies. He also desined clothes for Urmila Matondhkar in the movie Rangeela.

ya he is very popular..he basically designs clothes for all top heroins in big movies..recently i also heard that he is going to make a movie too..so let's see 😃

ive met him personally 😃 it was in india...first he yelled at me but den wen i went to go his his autograph....he smiled and was talking really nicely...he's a really sweet guy...i didnt have any paper with me to get his autograph...so i took tissue paper 😆 😆 😆 and he was like i hope u dont throw his tissue in the dump later 😆 .....i was like no no...im gonna laminate it 😳 lolll

Malhotra has designed for many leading actresses in Bollywood. He is known for his different style and his ability to envision a 'look' for the character. He is most probably known for designing the costumes for Urmila Matondkar in the film Rangeela. Stars including Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Aishwarya Rai, and Preity Zinta have all worn his designs. Although he usually designs for women, he designed for Shahrukh Khan in Mohabbatein. He was also asked to design clothes for Michael Jackson when he visited India for a Bollywood show.

His designs were worn by Kareena Kapoor in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001). He designed for Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na (2004), Kajol in Fanaa and he has designed for Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta in the film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). He also showcased his new collection in April 2006 at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. His all-white collection was titled Freedom and was inspired from Sufism. His actress-friends Kajol and Preity Zinta walked the ramp for him.

and normally only top actors get to keep the outfits or they give it for auctions!! for instance, i have got neha dhupia's lehanga from chup chup ke movie from an auction!! anywaz, his clothes are most of the time really really expensive especially the bridal wear!!

Like everyone has stated above I know Manish designs clothes for a lot of the actresses. I'm not sure if they get to keep it .. they probably do right cuz it's their size and all ..

Has Aishwarya worn his designs?

I know she's been very faithfull to Neeta Lulla who did her costumes for Devdas. She's also doing JA.

loll...

cuz it was the shooting of veer-zaara and i had gone to see it....but camera's werent allowed there at alll...

srk and big b were shooting a scene (the one on the roof)...and i kept taking out my camera....loll..the security guard told me he will break my camera if he see's it again 😆 so i said okay okay i wont take it out....and put it in my purse....

den it was lunch time after about 15 mins....so preity came to get her plate and some food...and i was standing rite there and took out my camera and started making a movie of her lollll😆

she saw...and she looks at me and covers her face and says "heyyy...please put that away"....as soon as she said that.....a herd of guards came running my way 😳

one of the guards says "i told u i will break ur camera....put it away noww"....i was like buzz off.....manish was with preity then since he was veer-zaara's designer....he came to me and yelled at me cuz i wasnt listening to the guards lol not yelled....but he told me to put the camera away cuz itz not allowed....and warned me not to create a scene here....LOLLL 😆

den after that like 10 mins...wen he cooled down...i took a napkin to get his autograph...and he was sweet....he smiled at me 😆
