They had two months after KV came back. And then airport and early Dharamsala too. They couldn't follow up after that? What shift did they need after that? They screwed up within Dharamsala track itself. And it's been three weeks now after Dharamsala, two weeks after IPL.

They had their golden opportunity and they squandered it, squandered it in such an incredible manner.

There is no scope or anything for this now. Everything is just from Aahil. Nothing from Jannat/Sannam. Oh, he will be moved to action? Okay...some action which will just give something from his regard, give him some sign or whatever. No scope or depth from "Jannat."

Wasted three episodes on a damn joda and Jannat getting her 'feels' that her Shouhar would want her in it. And then Aahil finding it as a sign and happy.

The show will keep on going like this with decent ratings with this crap..until it's pulled.

On a more general note.

I will watch still to see how ridiculous this crap is getting, probably. But I am hardly going to bother and waste my time discussing it or wasting cyberspace.

Exactly, i also feel the potential in Shaad's character wasn't explored well. They maybe didnt want to make him the straight laced army guy, but a guy with flaws but the execution was shallow. He could've just told Jannat the truth and developed a friendship with her. Something meaningful . One that would tug heartstrings and create conflict in the audience , which guy is better for her?

They didn't write this with Sanam's character in mind. They rubbished Sanam's character and plight. SHE is the lost one. But meager time is spent on her emotional trauma of amnesia. She us conveniently "factory reset" for Shaad to come into the story.

When this is the story of Sanam!

No use harping about plot misses... but I hope all these impending dramas (poisoning, jealousy? Of Shaad, and fake SR? Of Shaad Jannat ) is moving the right way. For Aahil to break out and DO SOMETHING !!

What's the aim here: For Sanam's memories to return? Or for Aaiil to claim his wife back? Because SaHil reuniting seems a way yet. ..

@bold Sage - totally agree.

All of a sudden, it was all about Shaad! Sanam, was exactly as you said, factory reset!

Yup - isn't that all we want? For Aahil to finally assert himself? And stop being so complacent??

Sage - Aahil's predicament in Season 3 feels exactly like Sanam's in Season 2. In season 2 we were frustrated with Sanam because Sanam would not just tell Aahil that she has a twin sister in order to resolve their differences! We wanted to bang our heads on the wall bc Sanam would not assert herself by telling the truth.

Aahil isn't telling the truth for a lame reason as was Sanam...I just hope they don't unravel it the same way in season 3, but it feels like deja vu

Exactly! My point earlier was to touch on the shifting of his character specifically and how even with KV back, they just didn't.

His character was doomed from the start. He is only meant to serve as a romantic foil to Aahil that will also not be the full blown negative character in the story.

You said it. They are purposefully dragging their heels on the story, especially Jannat's emotions for Aahil. It's so slight, each episode that brings about her being affected, yet her washing over it, or brushing it off with an excuse.

Anyhow there is apparently this jungle sequence for SaHil, a very absurd if not almost comical turn in the story line, but honestly perhaps we will gain some momentum there.

As I said to Sage, it seems like a repeat of our frustrations from season 2 with the SaHil separation. It certainly doesn't help that we were also in the IPL timezone of things. I REALLY hope that we start seeing improvement and hope that the reason of such annoying dragging was actually IPL as we have seen that all shows had been affected by it and had seen a drop in the viewership from usual standards.

Today was interesting with their complete flashback to a scene that happened in season 2 and with Jannat having that flashback. Of course she has had many, but honestly the CVs never do a correct representation of how she is actually remembering it. Perhaps they don't want to use the amnesiac filter on the scenes because it just doesn't look as good onscreen.

Whatever the reason...hoping the month of June onwards proves to be worthwhile as this show gets closer and closer to its inevitable end.
