Shaad was in character.

Did anyone else feel the same?
He chose the green dress because it was HIS CHOICE.

Ahil saw the red joda..remembered how happy Sanam was when she received it...and asked the seller to keep it aside, because he thought that would be Sanam's choice.šŸ‘

I thought that was very much in line with Shaad's characterisation..All along..Its only been about HIM.

Even the confession...it is to lift the weight off his mind..not because he feels Jannat misses her past...or deserves to know.

Of course he was, Soupy. He's always been in character. At least with this the CVs are consistent.
It's just lack of acknowledgment of the character.

Double-edged sword I guess. At least I'm glad he's still shown as same selfish, delusional character he is.

I want to give Aahil some brownie points after reading abt Shaad's mission marriage.

He doesn't care whether Jinnat will drop dead now after knowing all the shocking news he has been delivering thr' his letters.

I guess Aahil acted as an indulgent husband and Shaad as an obsessive boyfriend.🤢

You know, how the loony guys act after they've conned some unsuspecting girls?

But Jannat does not exist? its just a name he gave Sanam! Sanam exists and she's already a married woman.

Absolutely! awesome post, he is been always selfish , everything is about him always, I mean if he really cared for her, he'd have let her know the truth in the beginning, guy is super selfish, he wants Jannat to behave the way he likes, he wants her to do things that he likes, where Aahil always loved Sanam the way she was, Imagine he fell in love with her, when she was just a made in his house, He is Nawab of bhopal, he was with all these hot gals all the time, but he fell for Sanam,he loved her character. She changed his thinking, she cared for him even when he behaved badly with her. Same goes with Sanam, she is one selfless person, who fell for Aahil despite of his rude behavior, she saw real Aahil behind his rude facade. Thats what the real love is, you accept the person with flaws. Well! liars like Shaad will never know what love is..

Yes. I forgot to add sociopath in my original post.

See for Shaad, he is of the belief anything of her past and her trying to recall it would be a danger. But see, he is her present. So he is just telling her the truth of her present. The full truth. For some reason, to him this has no bearing on the past...it's just all about the present from the time he met her.

Surely...🤪

Sim, Your loony guy comparison.šŸ˜†

OK. I was thinking more in lines of SRK in Darr...or..ofc, Viraj Dobriyal as discussed before...But lesser in intensity and intentions because he is not a lead.

So they have kept options open to redeem him later...Right now, I think he is going to turn possessive and jealous..show some dark traits.

KK,
Even I felt the narrative tried to stick to that part of the characterisation. They are highlighting a negative trait...along with the positive one of him trying to make amends..altogether not really whitewashing him..Lets see where this goes.šŸ˜‰ (Ofc, not hoping for anything.)

Seriously. Apt observation chicksoup!
He was portrayed as heroic initially...heroic entry and BG music and all...

I just wonder now...have the CVs decided what they want to do with this character? Or did they always know?

He is the perfect foil to Aahil's character. Everything that he is, is what Aahil is not.

Also didn't VT mention in an interview that he wants to play a negative character? Was that a clue?

S2's transition to full blown villainy took some time.

Perhaps he will transition if SaHil end up being remarried. Wasn't that S2's trigger? The possibility of SaHil reuniting becoming stronger.

Thanx.😳

The CVs always knew where Shaad was headed. It is their crazy habit of keeping people guessing that gets on our nerves ...šŸ˜†

Shaad will never be a full blown villain. I am pretty sure of that.

Because Ahil and he were a team once up on a time...for a brief period.šŸ˜‰.

Shaad will lose his focus on SK...and get back to it much later...is my guess.

SK's target is Ahil. So he would have to get back to his mission - Stop SK.

Very good observation Soup!! šŸ‘

Shaad is being consistently shown as a selfish and self centered person...kudos to CVs for that
