The point is Soup Shaad has known from the start that there is a man in her life! He knew someone was waiting for her and also that there is someone she loves. The man she talked of is not HIM, and he knows it. But as soon as HE took a fancy to her, he decided to forget that part. Before he wanted to reunite her with her love, but conveniently forgot all that as soon as he realised that HE wanted to "keep" her. This is ALL an extension of the same behavior. Nothing more nothing less! The man was always a creepy and selfish guy who always thought of HIS interests first, and then of other people. It was clear from the get go! So WHY they suddenly want to act like he has grown a conscience he never had? No idea!
As long as this character is being portrayed as a confused good guy type, this narrative is never going to work. They already made this guy unpalatable to a good 50% or more of the audience, and after the stuff they have been showing, there is NO way, those people are going to feel endeared towards him! So CV's please stop trying. That boat sailed! You can't bring it back! Shaad will not be someone we will respect or admire now. You have given us NO reason to do so!
You know watching VT on the carpet with the other QH cast at Gold awards, I actually felt bad for Shehezad. HE is the one that deserved to be there. He should have been nominated for supporting actor. His role went for 10 months and had so much range and was so well written! I can't understand how they did not consider him worthy of being nominated? Do you have to be a "current" cast member to be nominated? Either ways, even 4 Lions and Forum 32 did not give him his due in my opinion. He deserved a lot more, and his character has been much loved by the audience. So some recognition of his contribution was deserved. No offence to VT, but honestly what has he done to get nominated in like 2.5 months that SS didn't do in 10 months? I think SS is a better actor too! Also his chemistry with KV, Amara and SJ was superb. SJ both as Sanam and Seher. Coz he was the only guy who loved them both? His role was not an easy one but he left a big impression! I sure hope he gets good breaks, and would love to see him on TV again!
What the CV's do with Shaad, I seriously don't care. I just wish they would stop butchering the leads to accomodate him and his actions. It's getting a bit too much to tolerate now! Both Aahil and Sanam look moronic. That is why I don't watch anymore. This is not that rocking couple I fell for. The way they have been butchered and compromised is just appalling to watch!
