The Longest new article of Tu Mera Hero

Titu and Panchi's love story is going a step ahead in Star Plus show 'Tu Mera Hero'. To witness it, we reached the sets in the far off western suburb, Mira Road in Mumbai. The soaring temperature made it difficult to walk a short distance to the school ground where the stage was set up for 'Hasya Kavi Sammelan'.

Here Gulguley ji (Gopi Bhalla) is participating in 'Hasya Kavi Sammelean' for which he needs fresh poems which can connect with the young audience. He offers to pay Titu for writing poems for him. Titu is in dire need of money to bail Panchi from the remand home and readily agrees. The scene is being shot on actors- Priyansh Jora (Titu), Sonia Balani (Panchi), Chitrashi Rawat (Rajnigandha), Gopi Bhalla (Gulgule), Ahsaan Qureshi (Judge).



Choreographer Amar Sakharkar is doing dance rehearsals with Golu and Cheeni as the latter tries to woo Golu on stage. Soon Titu and Panchi join them and then entire cast burst into a dance along with the 'Hasya Kavi'.



Titu aka Priyansh Jora confesses that, "Dance is something which I am doing since I was a child. To me, dance comes spontaneously." Panchi played by Sonia Balani joins in saying, "I love dancing and watch most of the dance reality shows. Dance is very important to me. At times it takes over my passion for acting." Priyansh and Sonia share a wonderful off-screen camaraderie. Priyansh in his trademark printed 'Titu' shirt and Sonia looking gorgeous in pink suit were seen matching steps easily on Amitabh- Rekha's 'Pardesiya' song.



While the lead pair is busy rehearsing with the choreographer the rest of the cast is cooling off in front of the air-cooler sipping water and other refreshers. We spoke to Gopi Bhalla who is playing a 'Sardar' Gulgule ji. Though exhausted under heavy makeup, complete with beard and a turban, Gopi ji says, "Shooting for 'Tu Mera Hero' is a wonderful experience. The unit and the cast gel well and there are no tantrums or ego hassels on this set." Gopi ji is enjoying his stint as 'Hasya Kavi' but when questioned about the length of his role, the actor replies, "Only the production house can confirm if my role will be continued after the 'Hasya Kavi' track, in the show."



'Chak De India' fame Chitrashi Rawat looks pretty in blue suit. As the only female 'Hasya Kavi' Rajnigandha, Chitrashi is enjoying every bit of attention showered on her by fellow contestants. Oblivious to the rising temperature Chitrashi is in a chirpy mood busy cracking jokes and clicking selfies with co-stars, Gopi ji and Achherr Bhaardwaj. Famous stand-up comedian and poet Ahsaan Qureshi is doing a cameo in the show as 'the judge' of 'Hasya Kavi Sammelan'. He is excited that his role has given him a chance to pen his own poems, while judging the contestants performance.



From actors to production crew, everyone was in a hurry to finish shooting before dusk. Priyansh and Sonia continued with their dance rehearsal till the perfect shot. Rest of the cast waited uncomplainingly. We left the cast and the crew while the everlasting melody of 'Pardesiya' played in the backdrop.
